Day 78

"Have you read Percy Jackson?" Eddy asks.

"No"

"You should read it. You know....."

And he starts telling me random facts from book I haven't even read.

Now don't get me wrong but sometimes it's annoying that he randomly starts talking about things I don't even know about.

"Great, I'll read it." I smile.

I don't want to be rude.

"What about Harry Potter?"

"Yes I've read all the books."

"Okay so you know the part where Harry survived because Lilly sacrificed herself has always bugged me because Lilly couldn't have been the first mother to sacrifice herself for her child."

"I have a theory for that."

"And what might that be?"

"Okay so we all know how magical oaths are binding and breaking one could lead to being stripped of your magic and your death.

Well, when Snape figured out that Lilly's son was the one that Voldermort was after and begged Voldermort to spare Lilly's life. Voldermort actually agreed to spare so, promised Snape even- and meant it even because if you remember, he killed James Potter without second thought but he told Lily to 'stand aside,. Like Voldermort actually meant to keep his promise to Snape.

I think he accidentally created a magical oath when he promised Snape. So when he did kill her, he broke his oath and was killed as a result.

So the next time he casts a spell or magic it was snap back and strip him of his life. It just so happened that the next bit of magic he performed was the killing curse at Harry and it killed Voldermort instead.

Anyways that's the only thing that made sense to me."

I turn to look at Eddy after finishing my rant.

He looks so startled like Life suddenly makes sense to him.

I honestly read that on instagram and I was like 'Oh my God'. Not that I will tell this to him.

"Wow." That's the only thing he says after five minutes.

And I control the urge of bursting out into a fit of giggles.

"Ok next question, prove that tan10 tan15 tan75 tan80 is 1." Our math teacher dictates the question.

Although I hate trigonometry, this is easy.

Only 4 steps and done.

"Done"

"well done, now shut the f*ck up because I am still trying." Max yells

I scoff.

"Why does he hate me anyways?" I mutter.

"He doesn't" eddy says. "He is like this to everyone."

"Hey Mira, have you done it?" Max asks Mira.

"Yeah" Mira replies.

"God you are my saviour." Max says and takes her notebook.

I give a look to Eddy and he scratches his neck.

"Well he is mean to most of us?"

I roll my eyes.

Sure he is.
