Chapter 5 (:
Kellin's POV--
This morning was really awkward. It looks like Vics forgot which is good. I should forget too. On the car ride over to Subway, I couldnt help but stare at Vic in the rearview mirror. I mean, his flawless tanned skin, carmel hair which was wavy since he didn't straighten it this morning, and those brown eyes with shimmers of gold in the sun. I forgot that I was staring when Vic looked at me through the mirror and raised his eyebrows. Nice one, Kellin. Friends don't stare at Friends in the mirror.
Vic parked the car and we went in and ate. I don't usually eat breakfast because I don't need to eat, I'm fat enough. So I didn't know what to get and I just got what Mike got. I guess Mike let go of what he said yesterday cause he was really friendly. We talked and figured out we have a lot in common. He liked all the same bands as me! Vic didn't try to get in our conversation but I kind of wanted him to jump in. I didn't know anything about him but he doesnt really talk much. Heck, I don't usually talk this much!
After we were all finished, Vic and Mike took me back to my house and dropped me off. The driveway was empty which wasn't a huge shocker. I live with my dad and he could care less about my life as long as he doesn't get in trouble for my mistakes. He taught me wrong from right but doesn't try to be apart of my life. He does whatever he does and tells me to do whatever I wanna do. I walk up the stairs of the empty house to my bedroom and plop onto my bed. I pull my phone out and plugged in my headphones. Listening to music always helps me forget and take it easy. It was saturday and I have no life so this is probably how its gonna be all day. All of a sudden my music stopped and my phone vibrated. A text... From who?
• Unknown- Hey, it's Mike! Wanna catch a movie with Vic, Tony, and me tonight?
• Me- Umm sure. What time?
I wasn't really worried about being home at a certain time. It's Saturday night and dad doesn't care so why should I?
• Mike- Pick you up around 8? We can get some fast food or something for dinner.
• Me- Great! See ya then.
I looked over at the clock. I got home around noon today when Vic and Mike dropped me off. The clock read 5 so I guess time flies by when you're listening to music on your bed? Oh Well, this gives me enough time to shower and try to look good. Not for Vic, maybe I'll meet a boy? 'Sure "Not for Vic" Ha!'
And on that note I decided to get up and get ready.
Vic's POV--
Going to the movies should be really fun! I can't wait to see Kellin. I mean, I feel like we're going to be really good friends. Tony and Mike will probably hang out most of the time so Kellin and I can bond some more.
Since the only cinema close to us is in the mall, we'll probably walk around before the movie which is a bonus. I look over at the clock on my bedside table and notice it says 7:00. I'm dressed and I fixed my hair so I'm basically ready. I took one last look in the mirror before yelling in Mike's room to tell him to hurry.
We drove down the road and picked Tony up. The clock said 7:30 and we were a bit early but I'm sure Kellin wouldn't mind. We pulled up to his driveway after I punched his address into the GPS.
"Did you tell him we were coming early?" I tried to ask Mike but he and Tony were in the back yapping their jaws. I just sighed and climed out taking the keys with me so the best friends would have to get out too.
Knocking on the door I was nervous but I didn't really know why. When it opened I saw a really confused Kellin with wet hair and bare top half. I instantly blushed but tried not to smile. He awkwardly opened the door for us to come in and ran up to his room to, I'm guessing, put a shirt on. I heard Mike laugh when he sat infront of me. I could automatically tell why when I looked in a wall mirror and saw how red my cheeks were. Instantly I punched him in the shoulder which he whined at.
"Shutup Mike" I playfully said because I couldn't stop smiling, thinking of Kellin.
I automatically stoped thinking about it though because I heard a door upstairs open and shut. My head snapped straight up, my smile failing to fade so I ended up putting my hand over my mouth.
"Hey guys!" Kellin said with a smile hopping down the stairs.
"Hey, Kellin. This is Tony. Tony- Kellin." Kellin put his hand out but, just like Mike, Tony pushed it down and pulled him into a hug. I think I heard Tony whisper something and when Kellin and Tony pulled back, Kellin awkwardly smiled at Mike then to me.
"I've been getting that a lot lately." He awkwardly chuckled trying to make it into a joke which Tony and Mike also did. I didn't, though. I knew what Tony had said and I just glared at both of them which they noticed and stopped laughing.
"Let's go. You like scary movies Kellin?" Mike looked to Kellin and I noticed he looked a little unsure when he answered.
"Uhm yeah. Sure." He turned up his mouth in a half smile. We left and piled into my car with Kellin in the passanger seat. When Tony and Mike were chatting it up, I leaned over to Kellin and whispered
"We can watch something else if you want"
His eyes sparkled as he looked at me and smiled.
"No its cool. You'll be beside me right?" His cheeks went a little pink. Man, this boy gets embarassed easily! 'You couldn't stop smiling and blushing when he didn't have a top on.' Shutup. "I mean, I'm not gonna be by myself." He tried to cover up his previous question.
"Right" I smiled truthfully and nudged his side and continued driving towards the mall. Its gonna be a good Saturday night.
