[A/N: First ever fanfic. Sorry if its terrible! Comment if you think I should continue? I'd appreciate it :3]
Walking down the hallway with your head down is a lot easier said than done, especially in a crowded high school like Tompson High. People are always bumping into your sides and knocking your books out of your hands. Maybe that's just to me, though.
"Nice hair, faggot!" I heard before laughter from the "popular" group of students. I didn't bother to look up, I didn't give them that satisfaction. I could care less what they think about me. Yeah right.
Walking into my first hour class, I sat as far in the back as possible. That is until the teacher ordered us to stand so he could make a seating arrangement for us.
"Mr. Magnelli, this isn't fair!" One of the popular guys huffed. Mr. Magnelli just shot him a glare before finishing his seating schedule.
'I don't want to be here', I thought to my self, 'Just let me go home. Everyone would be happier if i wasnt here. Everyone could forget i exist'. But the unhappy teacher pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Quinn!" My English teacher was now waving his hand in my face to snap me out of my dream-like state
"Hmm?" Was all I could get out since everyone in the room now had their eyes on me. I could feel my cheeks go a shade of pink, I really hate all this attention.
Mr. Magnelli pointed to an empty desk next to a boy I've noticed but have never actually interacted with. The first thing I noticed were his chocolate brown eyes which were absolutely amazing to look at. He had hair similar to mine but a caramel shade of brown and waves flowing through it. Also, he was tan for someone that lived in Michigan.
I went over and as soon as I sat down the boy turned slightly away. 'Of course. Did you expect him to say something? You're pathethic. Who would want to talk to you?' I lightly sighed. This was going to be a long semester.
Vic's POV ;
I was hanging out with my friends intil the bell signaling first hour went off. English, yay. I had almost no friends in that class.
To make things worse, the teacher is choosing where we sit. Great. I groaned silently when he told me where to sit. Soon after, he was yelling at some boy who seemed to care less about this class than I do.
Once Mr. Magnelli told him to sit by me, the boy started staring at me. I've seen him in school before and he wasn't bad looking. He had these shocking blue/green eyes that you could get lost in. His hair was almost like mine but a little straighter and black but still suit him really well. He was pale but we can't all be as tan as others, right?
I had noticed I had been staring back when he came to sit in his seat.
'Oh, god, did he notice?!' I thought as I turned my body a little away from him so he couldn't see me blushing. 'What are you doing?! He would never like you! Stop forming hopeless crushes, Vic!'
I couldn't pay attention in class because everytime I'd face forward in my desk, I could see him in the corner of my eye. And if I could see him in the corner of my eye, I would want to face him and talk to him. 'But why would he want to talk to you? He wouldn't, so turn around'
Before I knew it the bell rang and before I could even think about talking to the boy, who I'll be sitting next to for the next semester, was out the door.
This is going to be a long semester.
