She Is Home To You, But Everything To Me

Chapter 24

"Raven wake up! Raven c'mon please!" I heard someone shout worriedly.

Slowly my eyes fluttered open. But I immediately shut them because someone was holding a flashlight. And it was shining directly in my eyes.

"Raven, can you here me?" Someone said.

I nodded slowly, not opening my eyes.

"Thank God." I heard someone whisper.

"Raven." I opened my eyes and saw Mick leaning over me with his hand out.

I gratefully took it and let him effortlessly pull me up.

And then, I received a bone-crushing hug from Corey.

"You had me so worried Raven! I didn't know where you went!" Corey exclaimed.

"Sorry." I muttered weakly, a little dazed.

I honestly forgot that I had fallen asleep. But then I remembered why I fell asleep.

Paul. He was with me, talking to me. I couldn't beleive it.

Once Corey let go of me, I noticed Craig looking at me. He had a guilty expression on his face.

"Are you hurt at all?" Jim asked concerned.

I shook my head. "No I'm fine." I muttered, still looking at Craig.

"That's a relief." I heard Sid say.

"Why the hell would you go run off like that Raven?!" Corey exclaimed, gripping my shoulders.

I shrugged. "I just needed some time alone I guess." I replied, looking at the ground.

Once everything seemed to calm down, I walked over to Craig.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey." Craig said back.

So this was how it was gonna be.

"Where were you when I was looking for you?" I asked looking up at him.

He pointed towards a forest like place near the river.

"Oh." I muttered.

And then there was silence.

"Are you mad at me Craig?" I whispered.

"No." He answered.

I sighed in frustration and turned away, mumbling a quick 'whatever.'

But Craig grabbed me and pulled me into a hug.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

I hugged him back.

"It's fine Craig." I mumbled back.

Once Craig left the area, I noticed Corey standing a few feet away.

He walked up to me. "Hey Raven." He muttered.

"Hi." I replied softly.

"I still need to talk to you." He said, after a moment of silence.

"Oh." We all I said.

I looked up at him to show I was paying attention.

"Raven...you have to come home."

"Corey I don't wanna-"

"Raven listen to me. It's not because I still have to pay for you it's because I miss you. And the guys miss you too. Raven I love you and I'm sorry. I didn't mean for all this to happen. I didn't realize what I was doing until you were gone. I'm so sorry. I want to still be your dad Raven. Nothing with ever change that. Please, come home Raven." Corey said, almost begging.

After thinking about it for a moment, I finally made my descision.

"Okay, I'll move back in."
