He just sat there, not moving an inch. The only thing he really seemed to do was blink, and take deep breaths from time to time.

He looked terrible.

His eyes were bloodshot, and had dark swings under his eyes, which didn't make him look any better. It looked like he'd been wearing the same clothes probably for days now.

What happened to him?

Where was his girlfriend?

Where was his baby?

Surly, there was an explanation for him sitting at a small resturant looking like he hasn't slept in days. Not to mention the fact that he's alone.

Maybe something happened with his Father-Stealing Girlfriend.

Who knows?

Definitely not me.

I'll admit, I'm so disappointed in him. But that doesn't change the fact that I wanna run over to where he's sitting and throw my arms around him and cry and beg him to let me move back in.

But that wasn't going to happen.

It just wasn't possible anymore.

I sighed in frustration as I looked down at my balled up fists.

He made me this way. A depressed teenager with nothing to live for.

I pulled out my phone and texted Craig.

Keep your head down when you walk back to our table. I texted.

Soon after, I heard my phone buzz.

Ok.

That's what I like about Craig. He doesn't press. He just simply says okay and then gets over it.

When Craig walked back to our table, he had his head down, and his face was fortunately facing away from Corey.

He wordlessly sat down and looked at me quizically. "Any reason why I had to do that?" He asked.

I cleared my throat and jerked my head in Corey's direction.

It took a second for Craig to follow on. But when they did, he gasped.

"Is that Corey?" He whispered.

"The one and only." I mumbled in response, looking down at my now cold plate of spaghetti.

"What the hell is he doing here?" He growled slightly, glaring daggers in Corey's direction.

"Craig, don't worry. He hasn't seen me yet." I whispered back, giving him a warning glance.

Craig mumbled something unintelligible under his breath before he stabbed at his salad with a fork.

I sighed when Craig didn't say anything after that.

"Craig?" I said.

He worlessly looked up at me.

"Can we go?"

He nodded, pulling out his wallet and placing down a hundred dollar bill as he waited for the waitress to come back with our tab.

Once Craig paid the tab we were about to get our coats on and leave. But the waitress stopped him.

"Uhm...I just wanted to say...I-I'm a huge fan of your work and I was uhm...wondering if you could sign this for me." The waitress said in a flirtatious way, holding out a Slipknot poster that was in her pocket.

'Who in the right mind keeps Slipknot posters in their pocket?' I asked myself.

I think Craig was just about to tell her no, but she practically shoved the poster and a pen in his face.

Without a word, Craig took the poster and pen from the lady's hands and began signing his name.

While he was doing that, the waitress eyed me up and down, and scowled. "I'm guessing you're Raven?" She asked.

I put on a tight smile and nodded.

She crossed her arms and scoffed. "What made Corey wanna adopt you?"

I glared at her. "What makes you think that you can ask me that?"

"Just answer the damn question kid." She growled.

I didn't say anything, I just smirked at her because I wasn't gonna answer her.

I saw her fists clench as she began to breath out of her nose. "Fine, then tell me this." She crossed her arms and tilted her head to the side. "What makes you so special? The fact that you were adopted by Corey Taylor and you live with Slipknot? And if that's the case, then I don't think so. You must've done something to manipulate Corey into making him pity you and-"

Just then, Craig ripped her Slipknot poster in half and threw it in her face.

"Let's go." Craig breathed.

But I didn't move.

I felt a pair of eyes on me.

Slowly, I turned around. Finding my green eyes meet another pair that could only belong to one person in the universe.

Corey was looking right at me.
