Okay I’ve just fallen over arse over tit seriously its not funny I was walking to my car when out of no where this bird flies into me face and I scream like a little girl and fall over, I’ve just got up from my place on the pavement and look at Cheryl was is in hysterics laughing at me I walk over to her and poke her in the side she jumps and continues laughing
“that.. was sooo funny Diney HA-HA” she says
“you would have done the same if that evil bird flew right at you!” I say getting in the drivers seat I wait for Cheryl to get in and we set off to my parents Cheryl Is still laughing half way there
“okay stop laughing at me I will get you back for being evil” I say looking at her quickly before returning my eyes to the road
“I’m sorry babes but it was funny I’ll stop now” She smiles at me she kisses my hand and I continue to drive I pull up outside of the gates of my mam and dads home and speak into the intercom
“hiya dad its me” I say the gates open and I drive through we get out of the car and Cheryl looks at me
“what if they don’t like the idea that I’ve turned their precious little catholic girl into liking women” she says
“oh babes don’t worry I will make them see sense” I say and link our arms we walk up to the door which my dad opens as soon as I'm about to knock
“hey darling” he says hugging me
“hello Cheryl it nice to see you again” he says hugging her
“its nice to see you again to” she smiles I can see the nerves on her face I take her arm again and we walk into the house my mam is sitting in the living room when me and Cheryl enter we both hug her and sit down
“how's London treating you dear” my mam asks
“fine thanks its good to be back there” I smile
“oh yeah Jason came round the other day when he got no answer at your we told him you moved back to London but he dropped this off” my dad says passing me what looks like present I look at Cheryl and see her eyeing up the gift I open it and find a blue box, I open it and I see a lovely gold necklace with a heart on it I lift it out the box and look at It I turn it around it looks like the one I’m wearing from Cheryl
“oh darling that beautiful” my mam says
“yeah its nice” I say and give a weak smile
“put it on then” my dad says
“dad I don’t want to I’ll keep it but I wont wear it” I say looking at him he just gives me evils as I put the necklace back in the box
“he’s such a nice guy Nadine he is heart broken that you ended things with him” my dad says I shoot him a look and sigh
“we’ve been through this dad” I roll my eyes
“okay , okay” he says and holds his hand up I look at Cheryl and she gives me a smile “its now or never” I think as I turn to my parents
“mam, dad I have to tell you something” I say
“oh god your not are you!” my mam says wide eyed “what NO no she has the wrong end of the stick” I say in my head
“no, no I'm not” I laugh
“oh that’s okay then” she says
“what did you want to say love?” my dad says
