*Macky's POV*
Today I was going back on tour with the boys. I felt better. Less nightmares, I eat regularly, working out, and even have a couple songs written. Since I was in the UK, I had an interview before I go for my flight.
I sat on a couch, a microphone in my hand, two interviewers, a live audience, and a camera crew. I was in the typical black jeans, black Nike SB, then a maroon flannel, and a grey hoodie with an alien on it. "So where have you been? It's been about a month and there has been no media or updates on you."
I sighed "Ya... Lately it was finding who I was as an individual outside the band. It's hard because we're young still and this fame popped up and we were only 15-17 years old. I shouldn't be here now, I'm a hockey head and play football as of soccer. Colleges were looking at me and I was only a sophomore at the time. I was still a kid, 15 no guardian to tell me what to do, traveling the world, it's complete freedom. Then, if I thought about it; I dropped out as a sophomore with colleges already trying to get me at their school, here I am and threw it down the trash. I'm just trying to figure myself out. Lots of family issues and stuff, I have two younger siblings. I basically took care and raised them, then this comes up and I check out on them. I don't wanna be that person to them, we already had enough of it" I said.
They nodded "So understandable. You have a personal life outside this. Now is that a tattoo I see there?" The woman pointed at my arm.
I nodded "I actually got three tattoos while in Bali during break. This one was the most current, I was like done with life and just in a dark time; the same day as my last post on Instagram I got this. Then I got a quote and a dream catcher on my ribs" I pulled my hoodie and flannel up a bit for them to see. "The quote is 'Alive as if you die tomorrow. Dream as if you live forever.' It's really like live every second to the fullest. The dream catcher on the feathers there's like symbolic things. The tally marks and 2011 in Roman numerals, each time something huge happens I get it tatted in the feathers."
They looked through the index cards "So what does you family think of this? The fame and everything. Does your family treat you differently? Mackenzie McCoy pop punk star and Mackenzie my little nugget."
"They were really mad. I turned down a scholarship and dropped put of school, to do this with a small chance that everything will go right. Few of them don't really care, others are kinda mad because this was something that's rare to happen, I had a few where they're still disappointed about my decision. Even though they are they support me and make sure I'm good."
"If you could redo this and know the outcome would want to do this again?"
"No really, reckon. It's stressful, I'm responsible for the fans and its so much weight that one person carries and is expected to do right. That's the thing your forced to have this perfect image, management doesn't let us fall about certain things, you're judged everyday by thousands that don't personally know you. It's just of the millions nice comments, there's always a few that just gets to you."
"As a teenager, is it harder now growing up?"
"Most definitely. With all the technology there's so much more power. I think it's easier to say one thing behind a screen than having to face them. It's just how far technology is now, that's why I was just gone on the media since the beginning of the break." I took a sip of water and put the microphone on the table.
The interviewers got ready for the game and I went over to the podium next to the other four. "This game were going to pick six people from the crowd to see who knows Mackenzie and or 5 seconds of summer the best" they picked six people and I hugged them. Everyone got in place "Okay, first question where is Mackenzie originally from?"
The blonde slapped the buzzer "Sydney, New South Wales, Australia!"
"Wrong" I said into the microphone.
Someone else slapped the buzzer "Liverpool!"
I shook my head "Newcastle, UK. I'm actually English and not Aussie." Fans don't really know anything about me.
"What is both of her parents names?"
No one buzzed for an answer "The world may never know..." I said into the microphone.
"What was her first solo video cover?"
A brunette slapped the buzzer "Fly With Me!"
I nodded and hi fives her. "What languages does she speak? Also the boys?"
"All English!" A boy slapped the buzzer.
"Well they speak English, I speak seven languages. Basia, Italian, Scottish, polish, German, Tagalog, and English. That's like half a point for you."
I watched them and let's just say they didn't know much about me. Even for some I didn't give an answer for them. At the end, I took some pictures with fans and headed to the airport ready to see the boys.
How was I suppose to act when I see Luke? Like we broke up, it's going to be weird.
