Third Boy's A Charm (Grian X Reader)

One-Shot (100 Chosen Ones/Followers Special <3)

~A/N: this will have NOTHING to do with this story. It actually takes place in Tokyo Soul. But since you're here, you've probably read that, and like Grian, so that's why I'm doing this. I will make this as long as possible, and it WILL included cheesy and cliche stuffs~

  You sat down at the study table, drumming your fingers on the polished wood. It was the day of love and rejection: Valentine's Day. It also happened to be your birthday. (A/N: work with me) You didn't expect anyone but IgbarVonSquid and some of the teachers to wish you a happy birthday, seeing as he was pretty much your only friend. (A/N: HE IS NOT POSSESSED IN THIS) Yes, you knew literally everyone, but they weren't your 'friends.'

Still tapping your fingers in the table, you looked around the open room, and out the window at the courtyard. There were kids giving each other valentines and kissing and whatnot. After scanning around, you found the guy you were looking for.

Grian. You had loved the British boy ever since you saw him. Yes, you did know him and you weren't just a creepy stalker, but he never seemed to notice you. You've been giving him hints for the past month, but he ignored them and focused on his friends' problems. It made you slightly angry.

Then there was Yee, you had also been trying to make a move on Grian for the past month. You had no doubt that she was going to do something special today. You just wished you had had something planned.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N). Hey, are you going to notice me?"

Igbar's voice brought you back to earth. He was standing beside you, trying to get your attention.

"Oh, sorry," you said. "Good to see you."

"Good to see you too. Hey, I wanted to give you something."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah..." He shifted his red scarf, obviously nervous. Then he pulled out a ginormous box of (F/chocolate [if ya don't like chocolate, fav candy]) and a card. You took the card and read it.

It was a cream-colored card decorated with a border of (F/flower)s. It said, 'To my dearest friend...' on the front. You opened the card and read the rest.

'The time I spend with you always makes my day,' it said. 'You are the best friend I could have. Have a very happy birthday.'

At the bottom, Igbar had wrote, 'and Valentine's Day ;) love, Igbar.'

You got up and hugged your friend, saying "Thank you," to him. When Grian wouldn't notice you, Igbar was truly a shoulder to lean on.

You broke away and immediately opened up the box of candy. You took one, popped it in your mouth, and handed another one to Igbar. He shrugged and accepted it, also popping it in his mouth. You two sat there, eating the candy until the bell rang. It had been lunchtime, so now you had to go to your third class, which was gym. You said goodbye to Igbar, grabbed your things, and rushed to your locker.

  A certain someone had been watching you and Igbar. Even though he couldn't hear your conversation, he got jealous when the squid had handed you the candy and card. Then, when you hugged him, he felt pure anger rising in him. When the bell rang, he forced the anger to keep quiet, not wanting to show any signs of going insane, unlike all his friends. He had to stay the same one, or else everything would go to chaos. He grabbed his bag and rushed to his next class.

  After gym (which was boring), you had Geode. You shivered when you thought of him. After he had taken Taurtis' hair and called him 'the chosen one,' made Sam milk Dom, said that Grian's accent was a foreign language, and all the other things he did, you were afraid he was going to do something to you. He literally creeped you out of your mind. You had tried to avoid his class a few times, but Igbar had made you come in once and Geode had caught you leaving on another. Now, you sat in the creepy teacher's classroom, staring at him (along with the rest of the class) as he dissected a living squirrel. You couldn't help but stare as Geode took a knife and prodded the unconscious rodent's stomach.
