Chapter Twenty-Two

This is insane. Yesterday I checked and it was 20.6k, and when I came home from school it was 20.9k, and now it's 21.1k! THIS IS CRAZY! And 1,000 votes?! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS???? Thank you peoplez sooooooo much! This is the best thing ever! :D

Your P.O.V.

You stomped through the streets, gun in hand.

"Where are you Yuki?" you said to yourself.

The sky started to grow dark. Have you really been wondering around on the streets for that long? You looked up to see the azure blanket stretching above had turned pink and orange. The brilliant light that was the sun was setting, moving towards the mountains that stood to the north of the town.

Suddenly, your phone rang. You pulled it out to see Holly calling you. You answered.

"Holly, what the heck do you want? I'm kinda busy here," you said into the phone. Holly answered in a whisper.

"(Y/N), I've found Yuki," she said.

"WHAT?"

"Shh, she'll hear me. She's behind the school, where I buri-never mind. Get over here, quick!"

Then she hung up.

Oh I'll get there quick, Heart, your thought. Don't you worry. (A/N: if you didn't know, Holly's last name is Heart)

And you bolted in the direction of the school.

When you reached the school, your vision had turned (E/C). It was like looking through 3-D glasses, where it turned everything red and/or blue. You didn't really care, though. All you cared about was finding and ending Yuki.

Pointing the gun to the ground, you sneaked around to the back of the school. Just then you saw a flicker of hair go through the doorway that led to the cafeteria. Even though you couldn't see the color, you knew who it was.

"That's definitely Yuki," you whispered to yourself.

You looked around for where Holly was hiding. She had obviously seen Yuki, and she said it was here, so she must be somewhere around. Right?

"Looking for someone?" a voice whispered in your ear. You didn't have time to react before you felt a fist connect with your face, and you were thrown backward. The gun flew out of your hand. You landed on the ground.

You looked up. A (E/C)-colored Yuki was standing over you, knife in hand. She was grinning, showing her sharp, pointed teeth.

You began to process what she had said. "What do you mean, freak?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Yuki said. "I mean Holly. She was just here a minute ago."

"And where is she now?"

"Why would I tell you that?"

You groaned. "Literally everyone in this town annoys the crap outta me. I'm done."

Yuki raised an eyebrow. "What do you-"

She didn't he to finish her sentence because you got up and punched her face. She staggered back, dropping her knife. You immediately dropped down and grabbed the knife, then got back up before Yuki recovered.
