Taurtis' P.O.V.

I clutched Sam's dead body so he wouldn't fall while we ran. She couldn't get away with this. No. First Rowan, the Thomas and Ellen, now Sam. This wasn't right. This wasn't supposed to happen.

But Flow was fast. She ran quicker than any of us, including Holly, who was pretty fast. Flow clutched her knife as she sped away from us.

"Get back here!" I heard (Y/N) yell behind me. "You have to pay!"

Suddenly, I saw a flash of (H/C), and (Y/N) was running in front of me. She ran almost as quickly as Flow, and soon caught up with the psychopath. (A/N: Taurtis said this! Not me!) She jumped onto Flow, but the blue-haired girl merely tripped instead of falling over. She continued running, and (Y/N) lay on the ground, trying to pull herself back up.

Grian ran over to her, dropping to his knees beside her. He offered her a hand, and she accepted. Holly and I stopped beside them.

When I saw (Y/N)'s face, I could see why she had trouble getting up on her own. She was sobbing uncontrollably, crystal tears falling off her face every second. Did she really care about Sam that much...?

"Why?" she said, burying herself in Grian's chest. "Why...?"

Holly walked over to me. She brushed tears off my face, which I hadn't even realized we're there. I wasn't sobbing, but I was crying as much as (Y/N).

Grian looked off into the distance, then at me. "We can't go after her," he said. "She's probably on the other side of town now."

I nodded. He was right. Flow had gotten away.

Your P.O.V. (and a time skip)

A few days past. You had told Okami and Miss Woodlin about the deaths. You could barely tell them about Sam, which you thought was odd. He was just a friend. But was he?

Grian and you hadn't talked much. The whole apartment had gone into depression. Even though the scenery hadn't changed, everything seemed more gray and gloomier. As you say at the kitchen bar in the morning, drinking a cup of coffee (A/N: if you don't like coffee like me, choose hot chocolate), you thought. How could you live without the bunny boy? It was like a puzzle piece was missing. You now didn't have that slightly naïve, funny, cheerful, shy, and stupid-in-a-funny-way character in your life. This wasn't right. Not right at all.

There was a window beside you, so you stared out it at the grey morning. A familiar song came into your head, so you sang it quietly to yourself.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away.

"The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamt I had you in my arms. When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken, so I hung my head and cried."

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away. Please don't take...my sunshine...away.

"You have to face it (Y/N)," you whispered to yourself. "He's dead. He's dead, and you love him."

Tears rained down your cheeks. You cupped your hand at your face, expecting the shards to fall into your hand, but they didn't. You looked at your reflection in the window. Actual tears stained your cheeks. Not the cursed crystal shards, but actual tears. Droplets of water. You smiled, but were still surprised. The thought of Sam slipped from your mind, and the tears turned into crystal shards again.

You sat in despair, frowning. You thought about the state the town was in. Sam was gone, Rowan was gone, Ellen was gone, and Yuki hadn't been seen. Grian sat on the couch, his knees to his chest. You sighed. What else could go wrong in this hope-forsaken town?

You heard a ringing. You looked at Grian, but he was also confused. Then there was a buzzing, and a vibration in your pocket. You pulled out your phone. Someone was calling you.

"Hello?" you said, placing the phone to your ear. You cringed; your voice was cracky from lack of use.

"(Y/N)! Oh thank gosh. Is Grian there? I need to talk to him too!" The voice sounded familiar. Like a friend you hadn't spoke to in a while...

"T-Taurtis?"

"Yeah! It's me! Is Grian there?"

 "He is-"

 "Then put me on speaker!"

You did as he said. Taurtis immediately started talking, and fast. Grian got up and walked over to you to hear.

"You two need to get over here! Quickly! It's good news! I can't...

Sam's alive!"

~A/N: PLOT TWIIIIIST!!!! Short chapter, I know. But I had to get this out. So, what did you learn? you love Sam, and Sam's alive. I think that's it. hehhehehh I'm so evil~
