We stood there in the park around 12:30am. It was empty and the wind was slightly blowing making the swings go back and forth. I sighed and looked up into her bright e/c eyes. She was beautiful, and the way she made me feel was indescribable. I hate that she was so simply taken away from some short scrawny kid. But I have my ways...

"I want you y/n" I said grabbing her hands.

"It's not that simple Shawn, I shouldn't be sneaking around with you anyways. Adam is my boyfriend and I'm in love with him" she blushed scratching the back of her head.

"I don't care! If you loved him you wouldn't be sneaking around with a loser like me. But somehow you have the guts to text me every single time something goes bad between you, does that seem like a healthy relationship to you?" I said dropping her hands and walking backwards from her.

"Shawn I like you a lot-" she started.

"Then take me instead of the kid who doesn't appreciate you like I do" I said pushing back her h/c hair.

"Shawn you-" I stopped her by pressing my lips against hers.

I couldn't think of anything else but doing that. She jumped but fell into the kiss wrapping her arms around my neck and falling into my body.

"You're all that I want and I just wish I had the chance to get you before he did. I could've but, I was just too big of a chicken shit to even speak to you-" I sighed stepping back and shoving my hands in my pockets.

I started to walk away cause that's all I could ever do in tough situations. I turned my head a little to find tears running down her cheeks. It broke my heart seeing her like this.

"I don't want Adam so what do I do Shawn?!" She shouted making me stop.

I turned towards her and smirked lowering my head.

"Don't worry, I got this..." I replied confidently.
