I was walking down the street towards my elementary school minding my own business as I felt someone run into me making my bubble gum bubble pop in my face. I fell flat on my butt trying to get the sticky mess off my face as I groaned picking up the book he left on the ground.

"Hey watch where you're going!" I shouted standing up and dusting myself off.

"Ah jeez sorry about that!" He said walking over and grabbing the book from my hand he fixed his glasses and I glared at him.

"Where did you learn any manners!" I said angered sticking out my pouted lip.

I scoffed and grabbed another piece of gum shoving it in my mouth and walking back towards the school. I sighed and saw that the bell was about to ring so I started running holding my back pack closer to my shoulders. I stumbled into the classroom and sighed as the bell rang behind me.

"Well hello Ms. Y/N!" The teacher said tapping her foot.

I grumbled and rolled my eyes as I took my seat next to the giant windows. I sighed and held my head in my hand staring out of it. My eyes started to flutter shut as the bell woke me up.

"Y/N, sleeping in my class again are we?" She asked.

"No ma'm sorry ma'm" I said blushing as she groaned at me with her eyebrow cocked.

I gave her a fake closed eye smile as I scooted out of the classroom bumping into someone again! I groaned and shook my head looking at he person.

"Man what is with people today- hey it's you!" I said looking at the same boy that ran into me today.

"Oh! Sorry again, I guess I wasn't looking where I was going" he chuckled nervously rubbing the back of his head pushing his glasses up.

"Do you need your eyes checked or something?" I asked poking at his chest angered looking funny at his glasses.

"N-No I don't think so?" He said tilting his head.

"Well then maybe you should watch where you're going? I could break my arm running into you again!" I said stomping my foot.

"Haven't I've seen you somewhere before?" He asked scrunching up his nose.

"Well yeah?! I go to the same elementary school as you you dope?" I said rolling my eyes.

"Oh right-" he cleared his throat.

"Who the heck are you anyway?" I protested crossing my arms over my chest.

"I'm S-Shawn!" He stuttered sticking his hand out quickly.

"Well I'm Camas!" I nodded shaking it hard as he fixed the glasses falling off his nose.

"Nice to meet you, I just moved here from Pickering and I don't really know anybody around here..." he said nervously.

"Well- I'll be your friend! But you need to watch out because you obviously don't know how to walk and watch your path at the same time!" I chuckled shaking my head.

I linked arms with him and smiled nodding my head proudly like a true leader.

"Come on I'll show you the playground my favorite is the octopus climbing ropes!" I said cheerfully as I dragged him towards the play area, his glasses falling down on his nose once again.

"Don't worry ill protect you! No one will mess with you if they have a problem with you, you let me know and I'll take care of it!" I said putting my hands on my hips nodding.

He chuckled and blushed.

"You're funny y/n" he said giving me another closed eye smile.
