Celty and Shinra arrived in Kasuka's hospital room around 5:30am.

Kasuka had fallen back asleep to recover from his outbursts as Shizuo continued to watch all of the news reports on what the media was calling,

"The showdown at sundown in Sunshine city."

He found it personally too much of a tongue twister and a waste of resources when the news should be focused on facts.

However the reports continued as the police regrouped and as people were cared for.

Shizuo had watched a press release from (y/fn)'s manager and Kyo.

"If anyone has any information at all-," Kyo interrupted the man. He was wearing sunglasses even though the dawn had not even begun in Ikebukuro.

"Please!" He was begging frantically.

"If anyone has my girlfriend," sniveling could be heard in the microphones of the live reporters, "please give her back to me! And (y/fn) *sniffles* if you're watching this... I love you and I'm coming to save you!"

Shizuo growled, "that's my line, jackass..." He became a grumbling mess as more footage like that was replayed throughout all of the various news stations.

Shinra laughed, "you know they have footage of (y/fn) accidentally knocking him out because he snuck up on her out of the fog," he retorted as he checked Kasuka's vitals.

Shizuo hid a small chuckle, "that guy is a pain in the ass."

Celty typed into her PDA, "he wants to find (y/fn) as much as you do, I'm sure pretty soon he'll be your pain in the ass."

Shizuo stared at headless rider, "I didn't tell you I was looking for her," he said a bit too defensively.

Celery began typing, "you'd be stupid not to. I know you Shizuo these attacks could be connected to you."

Shizuo was guilt tripped and attempted to turn his attention back to the news but Shinra just had to speak.

"After all, you love her don't you?"

His silence was the only answer.

Channel 36 reported:

"I'm Yana Michibi reporting live from Sunshine city, I'm here with a bystander in the crowd; can you tell the viewers at home what it was like to be literally ambushed in the streets?"

"It was the most terrifying experience of my life," some woman was teary eyed and holding a handkerchief tightly, "all around us were bikers and gangster and... And... I didn't know what to do! A few people were able to get away but some were beaten in the chaos and on the stage we could hear the bomb and see only smoke, but I knew! I knew (y/fn) was up there fighting for her life!"

Shizuo gritted his teeth and moved to the next news station. She was protecting Kasuka's life not her own. If she had cared for herself she wouldn't be missing right now.

Channel 176:

"As you all know we just wrapped up our conversation with a police officer attacked at the Showdown at sundown in sunshine city. So far what we've gathered here at headquarters is that Yuhei Hanejima is safe. (y/fn) remains missing, and any who have any information are to call authorities immediately. Also so far the most plausible cause according to police right now is that the event was stuck in the center of a turf war."
