Squirrelflight

        Hello readers! I apologize for such a REALLY LONG wait, I was so busy >.< I know this is a short chapter but I'll be updating soon. Hope you guys enjoy this one! 

        Cold wind seemed to grip her with icy claws as she ran as fast as she could through the dark forest, her head in a whirl , unable to comprehend what she had just heard. She was angry, angry but most of all hurt, hurt that he could say such a thing. She had heard pawsteps running behind her as she ran swiftly through the trees. She did not want to stop, she had to get away, she didn't know where to, but for the time being, anywhere except for camp.  All of a sudden, there was a flash of lightning and then rain started pelting down on her fur. She hissed in annoyance, it had to rain- as if things were not hard enough for her already. The rain seeped into her eyes and she blinked them away in irritation, she could not see. She knew it was foolish to continue running blindly when she could hardly see anything but she didn't care, she would run until she collapsed in exhaustion. 

           "You should've known better Squirrelflight, than to let that no good, mouse dung, fox du-" Squirrelflight was in the midst of her own thoughts when she felt the ground below her gave way, "AaHHH!!" The next thing she knew, she was falling down, with no sign of stopping. She closed her eyes as dread filled her at the thought of dying, what would happen to the clan? To Greenfern? Just when she thought that this was the end of Squirrelflight, Firestar's daughter, and that it was such a pity that she had to face such an un-warrior like death for such a silly reason which was Bramblestar, she cried out in pain as the impact of landing on hard ground reverberated through her body. She opened her eyes, and saw......nothing. The darkness had completely swallowed her and for the first time since she ran off, she felt fear mingled with regret. What was she going to do now?
