The flight was long but I was kind of expecting that. It was an eight hours difference, so I would have to get use to that. I was nervous about living with Charlie, I hadn't seen him for ten years.

When I landed, I walked into the terminal slowly, trying to prepare myself for what I was going to say to Charlie. Then I saw him, dressed fully in his cop uniform. I bet my fellow passengers thought I was smuggling something, and consequently getting arrested. I tried to put on a smile to mask my embarrassment.

" hey Charlie," I said trying to sound cheerful.

"Hey kido, how are you?" he asked while he hugged me.

"I'm fine," I lied.

We drove silently to Forks in the cruiser, unable to come up with something to talk about. Forks was small town, just as I remembered it. It hadn't changed much, the weather reminded me of Britain; cold and raining. I hadn't been here in such a long time, but I felt weirdly at home.

we finally arrived at Charlie's two bedroom house, he help me grab most of my luggage, which was just one large suitcase. As I entered the house, the lack of activity or sound in the house.

"Where's Bella? I just thought..." I trailed off as we entered the hallway. "well, you missed a lot while you where in Scotland." he hesitated. " Bella got married last summer, and moved out." He said with a sigh. He still seemed like he had regretted her decisions. "But you can have her room."

" thanks" I didn't know what else to say. Nobody had really given me a room before.

" I'll leave you in peace, your probably jet lagged. I have to get back to work so I'll see you at six"

I nodded.

I walked upstairs and Bella's bedroom was to the west of house. I had a double bed, desk and a chest of drawers. All the Walls were bear. This was probably what was left of what Bella had taken. All but one thing, a handcrafted dream catcher hung from the headboard of the bed. I didn't bother to unpack I climbed into bed, and drifted away. I was surprised that I actually fell asleep; I hadn't been getting much sleep, not since my brother's and parents' deaths.

When I woke I was in darkness. I heard shuffling coming from downstairs. How long had I been out? Sunlight cracked through the curtains, blinding me. I climbed out of bed and went downstairs. Charlie was sat at the kitchen table, eating.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"About ten, so I'm off to work."

Had I really been asleep for fifteen hours?

"well, I'm off for a jog."

"ok, just don't go too far into the woods. Oh, almost forgot, Sue,Seth and Jacob are coming round at lunch."

"ok," I answered, even though it wasn't really a question. Sue? Seth? Jacob? I'd heard those names before, but I can't remember where from.

I went back upstairs, got dressed, but when I came downstairs, Charlie wasn't there. He must of already gone to work. So, I proceeded through the door for my jog. What I didn't tell Charlie was, I was going to do it wolf style. I hadn't gone far before I reached the woods at the back of the house. I took a swift look around to check nobody was looking - or around. Just to make sure-I didn't want anybody to find out, I ran further into the woods before phasing. It was quiet, too quiet, like no animal were there.
