Chapter 5

(Justin's P.O.V.)
Yess! She said yes! I am SOO greatful. Anyway, we fot off campus and we are going to drive to the movies and then go to a special spot where I go to just relax and think about certain sruff thats on my mind. But what I really want to do there tonifht is serenade Selena witha picnic, star gazing and me asking her ti be my girkfriend. I know its sudden but ai don't care. I really like her and I want her to be my girkfriend. And I want her to know that she can truat me with anything.

We got to the movie theater and we paid for our tickets and snacks. We got back row seats because, well, yoy know what happens in the back seat(😚😘💋). We went into the main theater and sat in our seats waiting for the movie to go on. After 5 minutes of infomercials and ads, the movie finally started playing. We were going to watch Oujia Board because Selena said that she loves scary movies. Every now and then, something scary would hapoen and Selena would jump in my arms. I always held her and soothed her by saying 'It's okay, babygirl' or 'You'll be okay, its just a movie'. She would nod but then after the few minutes, she'd be jumpinf in my arms. I thought it was cute.
(Selena'a P.O.V.)
The movie, to be honest, was a bit scarumy. But thats a feeling that I surprisingly lobe. Its fun to get scared every once in a while. Anyway, after the movie, Justin said that he had a surprise for me. I was a bit confused but just rolled with it. But, at the same timw, I still really wanted to know what ir was. I kept asking in the car but he just kept replying with a simple 'you'll have to wait and see'. It got me mad because I hate surprises. But he was only doing this out of the kindness of his heart so I have to respect that. Actually, I think I'm even starting to like him a littke bit. But he would never like me.
(Justin's P.O.V.)
We finally got to the spot and I was absolutely ready to pop the big ask. And no, i'm not proposing. If I were proposing to Selena, it would be way better than a picnic and star gazing. Anyway, I got out the car and helped Selena out as well. I then told her to close her eyes. "Why?" she asked confused. "Just do it." I said, eagerly. She gave in and did as told. I grabbed the blindfold out my pocket(not from the ones in the back😂) and wrapped them around her closed eyes. She flinched and I asured her that it was only a blindfold to make sure she wasn't peeking. After I was leading her to the spot while supporting her so she wouldn't fall, trip or bump into anything. Once we were there and the stuff was set up, I took off the blindfold and said "Open." She did so and her eyes grew wide. She loked around in awe at the stars and picnic set up. She then turned towards me smilinh and hugged me. I smiled and hugged back. After our long-seeming hug, we sat down and ate. After, we laid down next to each other, in each others arms, staring at the stars together. "This is noce. I've never felt so safe... or loved. Besides by my mom. She's all I got." Selena said looking up at me, smiling again. I smiked back(again). "Well now you have me and your mom." I said kissing her forehead. She gigled and blushed as I did so, which was absolutely adorable. I sat up with her and got up. I helped her of course. I stared in her eyes for a gew seconds before I leanes in to kiss her. She kissed back, wrapping her arms aaround my neck. I wrapped my arms around her waist and kept kissing her. We pulled away and saud "Wow" in unison. "Selena... I know this is a little to sudden but I don't care. I just want to let you know that I really, really like you. Even if you don't like me back, I still want to ask you one question. Will you be my girlfriend?" I said. I looked down thonking that she would say no. But surprisingly, she used the tips of her fingers to slowly lift my head up by my chin. She smiled and kissed me softly and passionately before hugging me. I hugged back and kissed her one last time. "Xna say something to you?" I asked. She nodded smiling. "I- I l-love y-you." I stammered. "I love you too, Jay." she said. I smiled and kissed her again before turning on my phone and playing some skow dancing music. I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer whike smirking. She smirked back and wrapped her arms back around my neck. We both moved to the song, slow dancing. Selena smiled then put her head on my shoulder. I leaned my head against her head and closed my eyes, embracing every move we made. Selena's eyes were closed too
It was the perfect night...
