Chapter 8|

Tykia~

The police drove us to the police station. I was to wait here until Zay picked me up.

It was so boring. There was nothing to do. I missed my baby, Zharia and my man Zay.

I decided I needed to talk to my man. I missed him so much.

"Can I use the phone, please?" I asked a police officer.

He nodded and pointed to the phone that was on the desk. I put in Zay's number and called him.

"Hello?" Zay's voice said.

God I missed him.

"Hey, babe. I'm waiting at this stupid police station for you,"

He smacked his lips. "I'm trying my best to get there, Kia. It's gone take at least 16 hours,"

"Oh. Well, I'll wait here I guess. For 16 long hours!"

"Sorry. I'll call you in about a hour."

"Ugh, okay. Bye." I said and hung up.

I sat down on the bench and sighed. I wished I had my phone so I could at least play games and text people.

Cali~

I decided we should go to the store since that bitch wouldn't let us in her house. I had just bought a house down here and we needed some groceries.

"Get some chips, cuz." David said as we walked down the chip aisle.

"Nigga, you paying for anything? Nah, I don't think so. I'll get what I want,"

He sighed. "Man, whatever."

When we had finally had got everything we needed, we got in line so we could buy our groceries.

"Hello, how are you?" Our cashier asked.

"Good. We're-- woah, um, yeah we are okay." I said as I noticed a wanted poster of myself and David. "We, um, kinda in a hurry. Can you speed it up?"

"Oh, sorry! I'll speed up the process!" She said and started speeding up the process. "The total is $44. 68."

I handed her a hundred dollar bill and ran out.

"Wait, wait! Your change!" She screamed.

"Keep it!" I yelled and ran outside. Once I was outside I ran to my car huffing and puffing. I was trying to figure out how this shit happened.

"What was that about? Running outside and shit!?" David said once we were outside.

"Nigga, they had a wanted poster of us! Our mutherfucking faces were on a wanted poster!" I said. "Get in the car, now!"

We needed to leave once again. You know, I was getting tired of fleeing. Maybe.....

Tykia~ (next day)

At 12:00 in the afternoon, my baby arrived. I was so happy.

"Babe, I've missed you so much!" I exclaimed as tears rolled down my face.

He hugged me tightly and kissed my lips. "Bae, they gone find who did this shit, okay?"

I nodded. "Just please, take me home."

He kissed my forehead. "Lets stay at a hotel for tonight.. I'm tired, bae."

I sighed. "Okay,"

The hotel we stayed at was okay. Zay said he ain't feel like spending all that money for a hotel we was only staying at for the night.

"Turn on the news. See if they caught Cali and David ass, yet." Zay said.

I turned to channel 7 news and they were talking about the death of Cali and David! They caught them? Wow
