Chapter 33: Back To McDonald's

*MELANI'S POV*

When I woke up, I was in my room. Wait. Didn't I fall asleep on the couch? I look to my right and see Justin smiling at me. I jump. Me: "Oh gosh! Justin what the fuck are you doing in here?" Justin: "Good morning to you too, beautiful." He chuckles. I stare at him like he was crazy. Me: "What did you put in your cereal?" He laughs. Justin: "You're funny. I haven't eaten yet. Anyway, how was your sleep?" Me: "Um... Good." Justin: "Well that's good." No duh Sherlock. He walks closer to me. What is he trying to do? Justin: "You look pretty today, Melani." I look down at my PJ's. Me: "Yeah. I'm sure messy hair and wrinkled PJ's are VERY pretty." I roll my eyes. Justin: "Yes, very." I stare at him. Is he high? Why is he all of a sudden so nice to me? Justin: "Well, come on. I made breakfast for everyone." He grins and scoops me up. Me: "Justin put me down. I can walk. Err, limp downstairs by myself." Justin: "Nuh-uh. You can trip on something then it'd be my fault." I roll my eyes. He walks downstairs with me in his arms. Becca: "Damn Justin. Who are you with? Molly or Mels?" Justin: "Molly. I'm just helping her." I growl. What is this boy doing? Like seriously. He sets me down at a chair at the table. Justin: "Okay. Mary's not home yet so eat up." [lmfao remember Mary? Melani's mom xD] Everyone crowded around the table. Yes, Maddy, Roxxy, and Beckii stayed the night. Becca: "Did you cook this Justin?" Justin: "Yep." Everyone groaned and pushed their plates towards the middle. Justin: "Hey! My cooking isn't that bad.." Becca: "Yeah. And I can fly." He rolls his eyes. Justin: "Fine. I'll eat by myself then." He sat down and stuffed a piece of pancake into his mouth. He got wide eyes then spit it out. Justin: "Yeah um let's just go to McDonald's." Becca: "Dude what is up with you and McDonald's?" He shrugs. Justin: "It's good. Let's go." We all groan and go get changed. We had no car so we had to walk down the street to McDonald's. My foot was tired and I plopped down onto the seat. Justin: "I'll go order." He stared at me which meant he was thinking about the other day at McDonald's. Becca: "Just hurry." I leaned on my elbow and watched the little kids run around the play area. Becca: "So anything new between you and Justin?" Maddy: "Oh yeah! Tell us!" Me: "Nothing new. He was acting weird this morning though. Like, he was all nice and stuff." Becca: "Aww! He's being nice now." I roll my eyes. Me: "Whatever. Oh shit. Hide me!" Jordan entered the building. I ducked under the table, which is very uncomfortable for a person with a cast. Becca: "Why?" Me: "Just shut up!" I watched him go in line just as Justin got the food. Justin glared at him but continued walking towards the table. Justin: "Here ya go. I ordered all of us pancakes. Where's Melani?" Becca: "Uh... Bathroom." He sits down where I was sitting. Justin: "Ah okay." He glances down but I'm not sure if he saw me. Justin: "So you see that guy right there?" I'm pretty sure that he was pointing at Jordan. Maddy: "Yeah what about him?" Justin: "That's the dude who almost kissed Melani." I roll my eyes. Roxxy: "No way! He's kinda cute.." I saw Justin glare at her. Justin: "Yeah? Well he's a douche." Becca: "Oh whatever. You're just jealous." Justin: "Am not." Becca: "Are too." and it went on and on and on. Beckii: "Just shut up already!" Justin: "Okay, okay. Hey where's Melani? She's been gone for a while.." Becca: "I have no idea." Justin glances down again, but I was sure that he didn't see me. Wait. Why am I still hiding? Justin: "Nice smiley undies, Mels." He chuckles. I jump up, causing me to hit my head on the table. I growl and stand up. Me: "I hate you." Justin: "I hate you more." He smirks. Me: "Where am I gonna sit?" Justin: "Here." He points to his lap. I roll my eyes. Me: "I'd rather sit on the floor." I grab the box of pancakes and try sitting down. But my foot hurt like hell. I groan and sit at the table next to ours. Justin slides next to me. Justin: "Hey buddy." Me: "What do you want?" Justin: "Just don't want you to be alone." He smiles. Me: "Okay what is up? Why are you being nice all of a sudden?" He shrugs. Justin: "I just am." I roll my eyes. He keeps trying to talk to me but I ignore him. God this boy is annoying. "Justin!" We turn our heads and see Molly. Of course. She runs over and hugs him. Justin: "Hey babe." She squeezes in between us, causing me to fall to the ground. Molly: "Oh I'm sorry! I didn't see you." I get up and dust myself off. Me: "It's fine." I growl and go back to where the girls were sitting. Becca: "Gosh she's rude." Me: "Tell me about it." Maddy, Roxxy, and Beckii [OMB lmfao I just notice that they all end with the sound "eeeee" :P] were staring behind us. Me: "Why are you staring at me?" Maddy: "Um, Mels, we're not staring at you.." She points behind me. Me and Becca slowly turn our heads. I see Justin and Molly making out. Becca: "Mels, I'm so sor-" Me: "It's okay. I'm fine.. I'll just be going." I stand up and limp out of the restaurant as fast as my leg could take me. Why am I crying? I don't like Justin. I don't like him at all. But why was my heart telling me I do? I viciously swipe the tears from my cheeks as I limp home. As soon as I got upstairs, I flopped face-down on my bed. Why am I falling for Justin?
