Chapter 38: Happy birthday Sierra :)

*JUSTIN'S POV*

When I was concious again, I asked the nurse to go find Melani. She said that no one was there. Already at the party. Me: "Um, doctor, how long would it be until I can move around?" Doctor: "About 4 more hours." I looked at the time. Noon. Okay good. I've got plenty of time until I do it. But for now, I'm gonna get some well-needed rest.

*MELANI'S POV*

When me and Becca got to Aunt Lisa's house, there were already tons of little kids running around. Becca: "Wow. We're probably the only teens here." I shrug. Me: "It's for Sierra. Plus, there's a pool. For you. But sucks for me 'cause my cast will probably get ran over by those little kids on scooters." She laughs. Becca: "Well let's go." We walk into the house and find even more little kids running around, spraying each other with silly string. AuntLisa: "Hey girls! Glad you could make it." We look around. Me&Becca: "Yeahhhh...." We say blankly. AuntLisa: "Sierra's out back." We nod and go to the backyard. There were little kids swimming, little kids riding bikes, little kids playing in the garden. And did I mention little kids? We were surrounded by a bunch of nine year olds. Sierra: "Melani! Becca!" She comes running up to us. Me: "Hey sweetie. Happy birthday!" Sierra: "Thanks. Where's Justin?" She looks behind us. Becca: "Um, what do you mean?" Sierra: "I saw the news! Melani was on it, and she was kissing him!" I stare at Becca. Becca: "Oh sweets, that wasn't her... It was, um, his girlfriend!" Sierra: "Melani IS his girlfriend." She places her hands on her hips. Me: "No I'm not." I blurt out. Sierra sighs. Sierra: "Okay then. Have fun!" She runs to her friends. Brennan comes walking up to us. Wait, BRENNAN?! Brennan: "Hey baby girl." He smiles and hugs me. Me: "Oh my god Brennan! What are you doing here?!" He laughs. Brennan: "Mom decided it was time for a vacay. And she heard that it was Sierra's birthday so we came here." Becca stands there, staring at us. Me: "Oh right. Becca, this is Brennan. My cousin. Brennan, this is Becca my best friend since forever." He turns to her and smiles. Brennan: "Nice to meet you, Becca." He kisses her hand and Becca's cheeks flush red. Me: "Yeah, so imma let you two do your business. Have fun!" I laugh and walk around, desperate to find someone MY AGE to hang out with. No luck. Me: "Hey Aunt Lisa, are there any people my age around here?" Lisa: "Oh yes of course! They're all upstairs in Spencer's room." Spencer is Sierra's older brother. He's 17. I nod and walk upstairs. I knock on Spencer's door. Spencer: "Come in!" I turn the knob and see a bunch of guys playing video games. Hot guys. Wait, no no no Melani. You have a boyfriend. Oh who cares? Having an attraction towards someone is different from liking someone. Spencer: "Oh hey cuz. Have a seat." He points to the bed. I timidly limp over to the bed. Spencer: "What happened to your leg?" Me: "Eh, I tripped. You know how clumsy I am." He laughs. Spencer: "Of course. Always have been." One of his friends coughs. Spencer: "Oh how rude of me. Mels, this is Josh, Allen, and Drew." Me: "Hey." I smile. Drew: "You're pretty." I laugh. Me: "Thanks. But I have a boyfriend." Spencer: "Whoa whoa whoa. When did this happen?" Me: "Like, two days ago." He smirks. Spencer: "So who is it? Another physco, or are you more into hippies now?" He laughs. I roll my eyes. Me: "Actually, he's a popular guy. He's known all over the world." They laugh. Allen: "Oh really? Who's your boyfriend, Justin Beaver?" They laugh again. Me: "It's BIEBER. And yeah." Spencer: "Oh c'mon Mels. You can't be serious. That dude's in Ireland or something." Me: "Fine don't believe me. I don't care. So what are you playing?" Josh: "COD." Me: "Of course. Are there any teenage girls here?" Spencer shakes his head. I groan. Me: "I'll be downstairs if you need something." I truge downstairs and see Becca and Brennan flirting on the couch. She smiles when I give her the thumbs up. My phone vibrates. "Hey babeeee. :)" "hii. Ur done? :D" "Nah im texting while im unconsious." I roll my eyes. "Oh watever. Watre u doing?" "Dreaming of u." I laugh. "No, srsly." "Im serious! Anyway, wat r u doing?" "Flirting with guys." I joke. It took him a while for him to text back. "aakgjdskfj ffkdjfnf Wtf?! MELS!" I laugh. "Oh im jk. Calm down, Biebsy. Im just sitting here." "-.- dont even joke about tht. Wheres Becca?" "Flirting with my cousin." "So now shes gonna date ur cousin." "Yep." "Ehh, babe i gtg. :l Byeeeee! i luv yoo!" I laugh loudly. That looked like a girly text. "Byeeee. <3" I sigh and put my phone back into my pocket. Lisa: "Hey Melani, you having fun?" Me: "Well... To be honest, not really. I don't have anyone to hang with." Lisa: "What about Becca?" Me: "She's flirting with Brennan." I point to them. Lisa: "Ah... I see. Well don't worry. The party'll be over before you know it." She smiles.
