Isabel's POV

"Hi my name is Isabel Marcus, I'm 14 years old and I dance at the-" and I'm cut off by my dog barking off screen.
"Cut!" The director, Karen, says. Lady stops barking so I guess Brody must have taken her outside.
"Okay Isabel lets start again."
I take a deep breath, put on my best smile and start. "Hi my name is Isabel Marcus, I'm 14 years old and I dance at the McKinley School in Ohio."
"Cut! Okay next is going to just be a voice over about Oireachtas. Do you have that part prepared?"
"Yep! It's right here!" and I grab a notebook off my desk.
"At the 2020 Mid American Oireachtas I won my age group, which was U13. I've won 5 other times before that."
"Great Isabel! Next we'll go through the awards you have up here."
"Okay!" and I see the camera start rolling. "So this is my Oireachtas trophy. It's really big! Sometimes I put Lady in it just because she can fit! This is my Cup from the last years worlds. I got 5th and it was my 1st time in the top 10 so I was really excited! Over here is my Nationals sash when I got 4th and my All Ireland's Sash from when I got 5th. Then over here are my medals from majors like worlds and nationals."
"Cut! Great work this week Isabel! We have your promo shoot tomorrow then we'll be back around St. Patricks day to follow you to worlds!" Karen says.
"Thank you so much for this!" I say giving her a hug.
"No problem sweetie!" She says hugging me back. I sit on my bed checking Instagram while they take down the lights and cameras. Once they leave I can finally change into dance clothes and go practice. I change out of the dress I've had to wear during filming and into some comfy Nike pros and a tank top. I grab my trophies and sashes to bring them back down to my practice room. They wanted me to bring them upstairs for filming. I still can't believe they're making a new Irish dance documentary! Well actually I can... But I can't believe they asked me to be in it! After Oireachtas Last year, not the one 2 months ago, the one a year and 2 months ago. After I won mom got an email a few days after Christmas asking me to be in the movie. I thankfully won this years Oireachtas too and I think everyone else did too. So now me and the other girls who won their age groups Oireachtas are all in a movie together. Apparently they this our age group is a really hard one...
I finish setting up my stuff then mom calls me up for dinner.
"So we have to get up at 5 to head into Cleveland for the photo shoot. They sent me a list of what they want you to bring so I'll print it out for you." She says while handing me a piece of pizza.
"Okay mom."
"So you should probably get all the stuff then go to bed."
"Okay mom..." and I finish eating and grab the list off the printer

Well that's easy enough... I grab the stuff then do like mom said and change into a sweatshirt and climb into bed. Hopefully I'll fall asleep soon...

"There's our pretty girl! Are you ready to shoot?" Karen says as I walk into where the shoot is. It's a huge room or something with a bunch of different sets.
I yawn and say "I guess..."
"Okay great! Lauren is gonna do your hair and makeup today then Georgia is gonna pick out your outfits." Karen says.
I feel like a supermodel... Hair and make up people... Someone to pick out my clothes...
Lauren adds some curls to my already wavy hair then adds some makeup. I go over to Georgia and she gives me an army green flowy button down, a black skirt with a brown belt, brown boots with cream boot socks. I head Into the bathroom to change and when I get out Lauren and Georgia circle around me, making sure everything is perfect. I go to the set and there's a window sill with my worlds cup and Oireachtas trophy. I'm told to sit in between them and to look at the camera and smile. They have me shift positions a lot and as time goes on it feels more natural.
They have me put on my oireachtas sash from 2 years ago. I go on this staircase set and they have me sit, stand, leap, spin and everything in between!
Finally they take the last photo and we're all done... No more film crew, no more interviews, no more feeling like a celebrity until we head back to worlds in two months... Now is when I need to really focus back onto dancing and getting on the podium again!
