"We have the results for girls 13-14 championships. The adjudicators were..." Omg it's finally results time! I've been so nervous... I know my fall affected my lights round but since I'm in the recall now, I know there's a placement for me... I just hope it's a good one...
"Round one, from the top; Competitor 103: 278. Competitor 105: 642..." Wow... A high score from Isabel to start it off...
"Competitor 112: 302. Competitor 117: 232. Competitor 120: 632..." Adelaide's in 2nd now... Go Canada!
I'm looking down in the competitor book and the next person is Violet, 142. "Competitor 140: 109. Competitor 142: 621." I hear a scream from behind me and I guess that's where Violets school is... Now she's in 3rd... It's gonna be really hard to get up into the top 5 with score like they have... It's getting closer to Ava's number and there haven't been anymore in the 600s.
"Competitor 192: 245. Competitor 193: 643."
Ava's winning, but barely... Her and Isabel are both so good it could go either way...
"Competitor 203: 546" Omg that's Lucy... and she was 2nd last year... I'm so nervous for what I'm gonna get now.
"Competitor 222: 612." Wow Taylor... She's beating Lucy...
As it gets closer to my number I start squeezing Brenda's hand tighter. "Competitor 254: 532. Competitor 256:..." The small pause in between seems so long "... 675." And me and Brenda both look at each other and scream.
A what? A 675? How? I didn't realize I was holding my breath until I wasn't anymore. I can't believe I won heavies... I beat everyone! And I was only 15th last year! They do the last couple of girls then it's over to the lights round...

"Competitor 281: 432. Now round two from the top..." I can't believe I just got 3rd in the heavy round and only 1 point away from Ava! Thankfully I'm the second one to get my scores but then I have to wait till the end to see how I did...
"Competitor 103: 278. Competitor 105: 691. Competitor 112..."
OMG OMG OMG I GOT A ALMOST PERFECT SCORE THIS ROUND! My next big competition is Violet... "Competitor 142: 649." IM STILL WINNING THIS ROUND! Ava's number is getting closer and I'm really nervous... She could get a perfect score... "Competitor 193:..." Ahhhhhh just say her scorrrreeeee "...626. Competitor 195..." IM IN FIRST STILL!
Nobody else is beating me until we get up to Brynn... "Competitor 256: 604." I scream because IM WINNING WORLDS RIGHT NOW! IM SO CLOSE TO BEING A WORLD CHAMPION! It's gonna be really close because Ava's set was really good and I stumbled a bit in mine... It's so close...

"Competitor 281: 289. Now round 3 from the top..."
I'm 4th in the world going into sets... I knew my rounds weren't my best but I still thought I would be top 2...
"Competitor 103: 321. Competitor 105: 635..." That's really good... I think Izzy might beat me... It's gonna be too close for comfort...
"Competitor 120: 631." Oh wow Addys score was really close to Izzys...
I don't realize I'm shaking until I go to grab a sip of water and the bottle is shaking so much. "Competitor 123: 505." I reach over and squeeze Rubys hand. That was her best score!
"Competitor 142: 601." Okay Violets score isn't as high as her other ones... I still have a chance...
"Competitor 179: 502." I see Ruby and Baylee hug. I give her a thumbs up from my seat cuz she's 3 seats over so I can't reach her.
"Competitor 192: 344. Competitor 193..." I feel my stomach drop and my heart leap into my throat when I see the number appear on the screen.
