Lucy's POV

Today is my last day of filming and I can't believe it went so quickly. In a week everyone is coming to LA for a bunch of group photos for like the cover and promoting. Today is when I do my interviews so we set up all my awards and sashes behind me on my desk and I sit at my desk. I get up and grab a necklace quickly and then sit back down.
"First we're gonna have you say your age, name and School." Karen says.
"Okay!" and I see the red light of the camera go on. "My name is Lucy Collins. I'm 13 years old and I dance for the Marie-Shea Academy in Los Angeles, California."
"Cut! Okay now I'll ask you some questions. What did you get at worlds last year and describe the feeling you had when you got your result."
"At the worlds I got 2nd. It was such a great day. I felt really good about my dancing and when the scores came out I had got all of the 75s! I also got 2nd to Ava, which is awesome because when we were younger we would talk about being the top two at worlds together!"
"How long have you been friends with Ava?"
"We've been friends for about 6 years now. We met back when I lived in Pennsylvania and she lived in Delaware. I danced with her sister at MARO then we hung out that day and we became best friends. I obviously don't get to see her or Mia as much anymore but when we do see each other we just pick up from where we left off."
"What is your goal for this years world."
"I want to stay on the podium but I would like to win, but that's what everyone wants and there can only be one winner."
"Do you think you could win?"
"The age group is so close with skill and we're all improving every day so it could be any of us on top."
"How much do you practice?"
"I try to practice at least 2 hours a day. I also go to the gym and run for cross training."
"Okay Lucy I think we're good! We'll see you in a week for all of the group photos!"
"Bye Karen! Thank you so much for this!"
"No problem Hun! You earned it!"
They pack up their stuff and head back downstairs. I go onto snapchat and look through the stories. I see that Ava posted a photo of the Dallas airport 4 hours ago. I wonder what she's doing now....
