Taylor's POV

"Thank you!" I say to the vendor where I had to buy new buckles. Somebody stepped on my hard shoes after round one and one of my buckles broke so I just got new ones. I have to go dance in 10 minutes so I run back over to the ballroom and where we are sitting. I just found out they broke too!
I look up after putting them on and getting ready to go on and Lucy is going. She looks reeaaalllyyyy good! I hope my set looks that good! I've been working really hard on it all year and it's usually my best round! I then get on my dress and head backstage.
I don't usually get nervous before rounds. It's not because I'm like really cocky and convinced I'll win, My parents and teachers never put pressure on me so dance is just for fun and as long as I go up there and have fun, it's like winning!
Once the girl in front of me finishes her set and bows the announcer says "Competitor 222, dancing The Hunt at speed 107."
I walk onstage to the X and wait the 8 bars before starting.

Yes! I hit both clicks and I felt both right up by my nose!

I bring my leg back sharply then go onto the left foot, Making sure I don't run out of energy and nail everything!

All my stamps and trebles echo off of the walls of the auditorium. I love having so many stomps so I can be super loud!

All clicks= Nailed! Clicks are my favorite move so I always have a bunch of them!

I point my toe and bow then walk back to the X.
"Now onstage competitor 223, dancing Plantxy Davis at speed 76."
Yikes I feel bad for that person. The judge rings the bell and I take my final bow then walk off. I'm so happy with how I danced! I get back to where mom and my teachers are and they're all beaming so I can tell they're super happy too!
"Taylor that was fabulous! I've never seen it better! You really are a star!" My teacher Jill says as I walk into the row and sit down. I take some long sips of my water, feeling relieved it's finally over. There's nothing more I can do but just wait and hope for the best!
