Chapter 3

Friday Natti and I were getting ready for dinner with the Lynch’s. I wore a pink and white diagonal striped strapless dress with a cropped leather jacket and studded black flats. Natti wore black skinnies a white skull tank top that was short in front and long in back with a leather jacket a yellow doc martins.

At around five thirty we heard the doorbell ring. Natti and I were up in my room relaxing because we were still getting used to the time change.

“Natasha, Nicolett get  down here dinner is ready.”

Natti and I walked down stairs keeping our heads down so the guys wouldn’t recognize us we sat down in between Rocky and Ross. One everyone was seated with Ellington next to Ross, Stormie and Mark at the heads of the table. Liz across from Ross next to Riker with Ryland next to him and Rydel on the end, I noticed they were all wearing their white shirts with their favorite color on the sleeves. Once everyone was seated Natti and I lifted our heads so everyone could see who we were.

“Hey guys.”

“Nici, Natti what?”

“Well it turns out that my sister lives next door to you.”

“Nici did you know this when I called?”

“Yes.”

“And you didn’t tell me?”

“Nope I wanted to surprise you.”

“Nici what’s going on?”

“Rocky’s the guy I told you about?”

“So you met him at the concert?”

“No, actually the day before at Disney.”

“So, Liz why did your sister move in with you?”

“Some issues at home that she wanted to get away from.”

“That’s nice so you have a close relationship?”

“As close as we can for being half-sisters and the age difference.”

After Dinner we all helped clear the table and then sat down to watch a movie. Stormie and Mark sat on the one love seat with Rocky and I on the other love seat, Ryland and Ellington were sitting in the two chairs, Riker Liz and Rydel were on the couch and Ross and Nitti were on the floor. About a quarter of a way through the movie I fell asleep.

When I woke up the movie was over and everyone was gone. I looked around some more and saw I was on Rocky’s chest and he was holding me close and Natti was asleep on Ross’s chest who was also asleep. I felt Rocky move so I turned to face him.

“Hi beautiful.”

“Where’d everyone go?”

“My family, except Ross, went home and Liz went up to bed.”

“And they let you guys stay?”

“They didn’t want us to wake you up.”

“Do you have to leave now?”

“Do you want me to?”

“No.”

“Then I won’t.”

“Really?”

“Yes, now do you want to sleep?”

“Can I change first?”

“Of course I’ll be here waiting for you.”

I went up to my room and but on a pair of black yoga pants and a t-shirt. When I went back downstairs I saw that Natti was awake.”
