A/N so to make up for not posting in forever, school has been crazy, I have a new update for you all

Chapter 13

Being on tour with R5 can only be described one way, crazy and loud. What was even more insane was being up on stage performing with them. For every show Rocky and I would sing our duet then Natti and Ross would sing something then Rydel, Natti and I would sing our song. After the first few shows Natti and I started to get a following of R5 fans and eventually started going out to do the signing instead of going back to the bus. Unfortunately not all the fans were thrilled about us dating members of the band. Some people even started a group to boycott the band until they broke up with us. Less people showed to to the shows, and altho they didn't let it show we could tell that it was starting to get to the band, so Natti and I went to Ryland for help.

“Ry we need your help.”

“The thing with the fans?”

“Yes.”

“Alright heres what we’re gonna do. R5 is playing a free show Saturday, you two will tweet the fans and the hate group about it, tell them there is something important to be said. You two come up with a speech to tell the fans.”

“We can do that, but can we sing a song for the band too?”

“Yeah what song?”

“The way that you do from Austin and Ally.”

“Alright you’re gonna need the back tracks right?”

“yes.”

“Alright, I’ll take care of that you just worry about them.”

On Saturday R5 had one of their biggest crowds in a while. Half way through their set Natti and I went on stage.

“Alright R5 family we told you there was something important to be said so here it is.”

“The way you guys have been acting is not the way that a family should.”

“Shouldn’t you be happy that your favorite band has found people they love.”

“Shouldn’t their happiness be enough?”

“If you were in their place how would you feel?”

“Would you want your fans to want you to break up with your boyfriend or girlfriend?”

“No, you’d want them to support you. so why should this be any different.”

“They love you all that’s why you’re the R5 family not just fans.”

“So why don’t we show them exactly how much we love them and want them to be happy.”

“This next song is for them, to remind them just how much we love them.”

Ryland started the music and Natti and I started singing. At first the crowd was silent, but towards the end of the song they all started to sing along. Once we were finished R5 went back on to finish the show. You could see a change in the crowd for the whole second half of the show. After the show was finished we went back to the bus to head to New York City.

“I can’t believe you guys did that.”

“Well something needed to be done.”

“Yeah but we just figured one of us would snap or management would do something.”

“Well we wanted to and Ryland helped us.”

“We kinda figured thanks little bro.”

“No problem.”

“So Natti are you still auditioning for the movie while we’re here?”

“Yeah.”

“Kids you may want to check twitter.”

Ross and Riker pulled out their laptops and both logged on to the R5 twitter account and the rest of us crowded around them. The mentions were filled with apologies and even a few people covering The Way That You Do.

“While it looks like you got through to the fans.”

“Yeah it does.”

“Thank you guys.”

“You’re welcome.”

“You guys ready for NYC.”

“Yeah we are.”

Once we arrived in New York City we had some time before Nattie’s audition and the show wasn’t until the next day sh the boys decided to go skate.

“Nici do you know how to skate?”

“No.”

“Do you want to learn?”

“Sure, but only if you teach me.”

“Done.”

Rocky gave me his skate board, it’s awesome a purple deck with lime green wheels, and stood behind me with his hands on my waist so that i wouldn’t fall. After a while we had to leave so that Natti could go to her audition. After we dropped Natti off at her audition with Ross, Rocky decided to take me out for lunch.

“So are you having fun on tour with us?”

“Yes, I am, thank you so much for inviting me.”

“It was my mom but I’m so glad she did.”

“Even with all the hate?”

“Even with all the hate. I love you Nici.”

“I love you too Rocky.”

THe next day we all found out that their concert for that night was sold out. They were so excited to have a sold out show again. After the show, the last person in line was offered a picture with the band. She was super excited and even wanted Natti and I in the photo. She ended up standing between Natti and I and told us we were an inspiration for her. In the way that we stood up for what was right and the way we defended our boyfriends and their family.

We finished off the 34 city tour and all of us were glad to be back in our own beds. As soon as we got home and dropped our stuff off we got into the van and went to In and Out Burger.

The day after we got back we invited everyone over to the Lynch’s house to swim and hang out now that we were finally home.
