Chapter 8

After everything that had been going on between Natti and I, Liz decided we needed a girls day, so I was in my room getting ready to spend a day with Natti, Liz and Rydel. I picked out a simple blue strapless dress with a white cardigan and flats. I went downstairs where Liz was waiting with breakfast ready. Liz was dressed in a pair of fitted jeans with a fitted Red t-shirt. Shortly after I sat down Natti came downstairs wearing a yellow fitted v-neck under a leather jacket with black skinnies and black combat boots. After we had finished eating Rydel came over. She was wearing a Hot pink shirt with a black see through skirt of jean shorts and pink converse. We got into Liz’s car and headed for the mall. At the mall we went into a bunch of stores including Hollister, American Eagle and Forever 21. We walked into the Gap and played “when I get you alone” remembering Riker had to film it for Glee. To our surprise the manager working that day looked a lot like the guy from the show. We left the Gap before we got yelled at and went back to our house. When we got to our house Liz and Rydel went into the kitchen to get some snacks.

“Natti I’m sorry for ignoring you.”

“I’m sorry for what I said.”

“It’s Alright.”

“No it’s not, I talked to Josh and he told me that it was all true.”

“Thanks Natti.”

“your welcome, so am i forgiven?”

“Yes, I can’t stay mad at my best friend.”

Liz and Rydel came back out with snacks and we put in the first movie.

“So Delly do you like anyone?”

“yeah, kinda.”

“Aww who?”

“Nick.”

“Nick as in my cousin Nick?”

“Yeah, that Nick.”

“Aww thats so sweet.”

“I don’t think it will work though.”

“Why not?”

“I don’t think he likes me and he’s gonna have to leave eventually.”

“While for the first one I think he likes you, and second I’m sure you two could work something out. I mean Rocky and U were gonna try long distance until we found out we were neighbors.”

“Yeah I guess your right. I’m just afraid of being turned down.”

“Rydel you are beautiful and an amazing person. But I will talk to him, but not tell him you like him.”

“Thanks Nici.”

“Your welcome.”

“So Liz do you like anyone?”

“yeah sis?”

“Riker.”

“Really?’

“yeah ever since I moved here, I thought he was good looking so I looked him up. found the band and band pictures on my sisters facebook. Once I found out she wanted to move here I hoped it would give me a chance to get to know Riker better.”

“Aww Liz you should go for it.”

“I don’t know.”

“You should he seems to like you too.”

“really?”

“Yeah you should go for it.”

“ha, all of us Lynch’s have fallin for the same family except Ryland.”

“And Ross, Natti’s not technically family.”

“She’s close enough.”

“Yeah that true.”

“We’re all one big happy family.”

“Yeah N³ R6 Kelly, Liz and Faith.”

We continued to watch movies until we all started to fall asleep. Around one am Rydel and I were the only ones still awake.

“So Nici how are things between you and Rocky?”

“They’re good. I really like him.”

“Good he likes you too, but don’t you think you guys are moving too fast?”

“Not really, mean all we do is kiss, cuddle, we’ve slept next to each other but all we did was sleep, and he’s the first guy outside of my family who i’ve let touch me and I feel safe around him.”

“Right, I just worry about my brothers.”

“I respect that and I don’t plan on hurting him.”

“alright, just make sure you communicate with each other.”

“We will.”

“If you don’t mind me asking what happened with your ex?”

“I found the Adien, my ex, had been cheating on me so I went over to break up with him. His brother sent me up to his room to talk, not knowing i was about to end things. When I told Adien I knew about the cheating and wanted to break up he told me it was my fault, because I wouldn’t sleep with him. I told him I wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be until I was married. He told me that he would have what he wanted. I screamed as loud as I could. Adien slapped me and pined me to his bed. His brother had heard me scream and came into the room, he pushed Adien away from me and walked me to the door.”

“That ridiculous.”

“Yeah, Rocky’s the first guy i’ve dated since then.”

“Don’t worry he’d never do anything like that.”

“I know and I completely trust him.”
