End of summer

Chapter 9

As summer came to an end the Lynchs decided to host an end of summer pool party. We we all invited as was Faith, Kelly, Laura, Ranni, Calum, Alex Aiono, and the Ratliff family.

We were all in the pool, and Mark was cooking on the grill, when Stormie came out to say there were two more people there. Riker got out of the pool and walked around to let them into the back yard, by the time they were in the back yard we were all out of the pool. When I saw who they were I froze, and all of the Lynch kids and Ratliff surrounded me.

“Nici it’s good to see you again.”

“What how’d you find me?”

“easy I found you on twitter, heard about you and Rocky found him and the rest of the band, heard about the party and tracked you down.”

“Josh how could you let him come?”

“I’m sorry Nat i didn’t know what he was planning.”

“Why would I have told you. Now Nici I think it’s time I have what’s mine.”

“You have to go through all of us.”

“That won’t be a problem.”

Adien pulled out a gun and aimed it at Riker first. Before he got a chance to do anything the police tackled him to the ground and handcuffed him. One officer took Adien to the police car and the other collected all of our statements. Once the police left the food was done so we all ate. After we were done eating we went inside to watch a movie. Riker and Rocky had me sit on the floor in between them and Riker had his arm around my shoulder and Rocky had his arm around my waist. After the movie we decided to have a water war. After the water war everyone started to leave, Liz decided it would be best for us to stay at the Lynch’s not knowing whether or not Adien was in custody and would rather there be more people around. We made a makeshift bed on the floor and we all got situated. Rocky laid on the one end, I was next to him, Riker was next to me, Liz was next to Riker, Natti was next to Liz, Ross was next to Natti, Ryland was next to Ross, Rydel was next to Ryland and Nick was next to Rydel.

*ROCKY’S POV*

I’m glad Liz and my parents thought it would be a good idea for them to stay at our house for the night. It made me feel better knowing that they were all safe. I was in a peaceful sleep next to my beautiful girlfriend with both of our families in the room when I was woken up by Nici moving around and whimper “no” over and over again. I knew I needed to wake her up, so I sat up and gently placed my hand on her shoulder.

“Nici, wake up it’s just a dream.”

“No, please leave me alone.”

“Beautiful it’s ok I’m here. It’s me Rocky.”

“Rocky?”

“Yeah it’s me, it was just a dream.”

“It was so realistic like it was all happening again.”

“It’s alright I’m here as our both our families. Nobody can hurt you.”

“I know thank you.”

“Is there anything I can do to help?”

“Can you hold me?”

“Yes I can.”

Normal POV

I woke up the next morning still in Rocky’s arms. His grip was loose enough that I was able to get up without waking him up. Once I was up I went into the kitchen to help Rydel and Stormie make breakfast.

“Good morning sweetie, how did you sleep?”

“Alright,  I had a nightmare again.”

“Is that why Rocky was holding you?”

“Yeah. Do you need help with anything?”

“Could you wake everybody up?”

“Yeah, sure.”

“Have one of my brothers help you wake up Riker.”

“Ok.”

I went back into to the living room to wake everybody up. When I got into the living room Rocky was already awake so I had him wake up his brothers, while I woke up Liz, Natti and Nick. Once everyone was awake we went into the dining room for breakfast. After we were done eating all us girls were floating on rafts in the pool while Rydel filmed the boys doing tricks for the next R5TV. After the band decided to film a music video like their old ones, so they called Kelly and Ratliff over. Once they were over they started working on a new song, and coming up with an idea for a music video. With all of us there it didn’t take long to write the song and we quickly came up with a video idea. They ran through the song a few times, then recorded it. For the video we decided to have the band sing to us girls and Nick after they see us having Coffee at a Coffee shop and are trying to get us to notice them, ending with all of us having coffee at a coffee shop

The next morning we arrived at the Lynch’s and got the things we needed to set up the coffee shop in my backyard, and make the Lynch’s yard look like a park. Once everything was set up Ryland got out the camera and we started filming the video. At twelve thirty, we stopped for lunch then went back to filming till dinner time. After dinner Rydel and Ryland went to editing the video together. Once the video was done they played it and everyone agreed that it was good so Rydel uploaded to Youtube and everyone tweeted the link to it
