Katherine's POV:
When I woke up, Emily had already gotten up, but wasn't anywhere to be seen. I went to look in Kalvyn's room, but she wasn't there either. She was in her parents room.
"Emily?" I whispered to her through the door. I then realized that Adam was awake and sitting with her.
"Hey Katherine," Adam replied. "You don't have to be quiet. It's noon and Tommy's asleep, so he needs to get up anyways.
I nodded and walked in the room to sit next to Emily on the floor. Tommy rustled under the blankets a little bit, but didn't wake up. "What were you guys talking about?"
Adam smiled, blushed slightly, then looked away. Emily smiled too, then said, "I was asking Adam if he liked anyone."
I just bobbed my head and looked at Adam. I smiled at his bashfulness, then asked, "And?"
Emily elbowed Adam, "Tell her."
I was surprised how close they were already. "I don't know if I should tell her-"
"Oh for goodness sake, he likes Tommy!" Emily interrupted.
Adam's POV:
Emily was a kind-hearted girl who was constantly happy. I enjoyed having her around. And although I was okay with her knowing I liked Tommy, I wasn't ready for the whole world to know yet. I didn't want to rush into anything. Emily was craddled in my arms comfortably and I enjoyed her there, but I almost wished it was him.
Katherine stood up and ripped the blankets off of Tommy, "Get up, lazy."
Tommy moaned and rolled into a ball. "No."
We all laughed and waited for him to get up. When he saw me, he smiled and immediantly got out of bed. We all stood up and Emily ordered in pizza for us.
"Do you have a hotel in the area?" Emily questioned as she set the pizza on the counter to serve.
"No, not yet. We were going to get one last night, but we didn't exactly plan this scenario," Tommy replied from the table where we sat.
Emily grinned and set out plates, "Well, if you're staying for a while, go to the Holiday Inn across the street from Old Chicago. It's top notch and the people working there are really friendly," she paused, "You can come get some pizza."
That day, Emily drove us around town and showed us where we could shop, eat, and hang out during the next month. She also brought Tommy and I to our hotel to check in. Once we were all alone, we layed down and relaxed in our beds.
"Those girls are pretty awesome," Tommy started. "Katherine, though...she doesn't seem as infatuated with us as Emily."
I agreed with him, "Maybe she's just not a fan, or maybe she's kind of homophobic or something."
Tommy laughed a little, then looked over at me, "What are we going to do for the rest of the day? We could do anything."
I stood up and walked to the mirror, checked my hair and make-up, then said, "Let's hit the mall. We have to get some extra clothes for the month anyways."
Tommy smiled and jumped out of bed excitedly. "Now we get to do some real shopping!"
Emily's POV:
Once they were gone, I had to clean. not only was it force of habit to clean after a guest visited, but my parents would be home any time. Katherine helped, but neither of us were focused.
"It's like your dream came true," Katherine mumbled as she folded the pizza box to fit in the garbage bag.
"What?" I questioned.
"Well you always wanted to meet Adam, and Tommy kind of came with the package deal...and they spent the night and everything. And soon, Tommy and Adam will be a celebrity couple. That's another thing you want to happen," Katherine explained. She continued working and I realized it was literally my whole life's dream coming true. Everything I ever wanted was right in front of me.
"Yeah...I guess you're right," I replied, smiling. As soon as we finished cleaning, my parents walked through the door with my little brother.
"Emmy! Look what we got!" Calvin screamed as he held up a large monster truck.
I nodded my head, looked at Katherine, and said, "I think we're going to head out. We'll be back later."
We zipped out the door and headed to the mall. That's when I remembered Xadrian. Why hadn't he called to see if I was okay?
What happened?
