Emily's POV:
On Saturday morning, I woke up to my phone ringing, which I always hate because I sound retarded when I wake up. I unlocked the screen and answered.
"Hello?" I said, then cleared my throat.
"I woke you up didn't I?" Cole laughed through the speaker. I relaxed a bit, happy that the call wasn't necessarily important.
"Yeah, you did actually. But I don't care, I need to get up anyways. Something wrong?" I quietly replied.
"Well," he paused, and I could almost hear his heartbeat accelerate, "I was wondering if you were busy today...I wanted to hang out or...whatever...."
I jumped straight out of bed and found that it was ten thirty, and I looked like a mess. "Yeah, just give me an hour and I'll be ready. Are you going to-"
"-Yeah I will!" he finished for me. We both laughed.
"I'll see you in an hour then!" Cole exclaimed happily. I laughed again, said goodbye, and hung up the phone.
"Shit," I muttered and started scampering around my room for clothes. I needed a good shower, only because the last few days were stressful and I hadn't gotten to shower for at least two days. I pulled out a batman t-shirt and my favorite pair of black sweatpants, not really expecting what lunch was going to be like. I grabbed under garments, my IPod, and then frantically fled to the bathroom.
After I finished the steamy shower, It was nearly eleven, and that small fact made me settle down. I slowly put on my comfortable clothing and exited the overheated bathroom to find a sweatshirt and replace my IPod for my phone. I had one text message from Cole telling me he would be arriving in ten minutes. I threw on some perfume quickly, and wrote a note on the counter for my parents, who had already left the house for work, and told them I would be back later today. Grabbing my keys, I ran out the door excitedly, locked it, and nearly tripped down the stairs to get to the entryway of my apartment. I still had five minutes to spare, so I sat down on the cement outside and waited patiently.
Adam's POV:
It was nearly noon and Tommy still hadn't moved one bit since I woke up almost two hours ago. I decided to call some sandwich place called Erberts and Gerberts and order two subs for us; I really didn't feel like making lunch for us, and Tommy certainly wasn't going to do it in his deep sleeping state. I slowly started trying to wake him up, but he wasn't going to have it. I laughed and turned on the TV to some cooking show; I started wondering if I should learn to cook better. It would be nice to be able to cook a good meal for both of us after a long day, or just to have a fancy dinner in our own place. I'm sure Tommy would want the same.
By the time the delivery man arrived, Tommy had woken up and was trying his best to pay attention to the TV show. I grabbed two paper plates out of the small cubbord that had been provided in our room and plated our lunches.
"Good afternoon," I whispered as I handed him the plate of food. He widely grinned and started eating the sub. I didn't really know what to order him so I just got a plain sandwich with no other condements on it.
"This is good," Tommy exclaimed with his mouth full of food. I laughed and tried my sandwich, finding that it was really good.
After we finished eating, we both continued to watch shows on the cooking channel until Tommy unexpectedly said, "Who are we going to tell first?"
I looked over at him, his eyes glued to the TV, "What do you mean?"
"Well, who are we going to tell about the wedding? Isaac? I'm sure he would blab it to the rest of the band, so that would take care of the band situation..." Tommy shared with me.
