Lisa's POV

I woke to sunlight streaming through the curtains, blinked a few times and stretched. I glanced over at Lauren who was still sleeping peacefully in her bed. I saw the time was 8:00 on Tuesday. 5 hours ago we were still at the hospital, learning the extent of Dani's injuries, both mentally and physically.

I stood up and walked quietly to the bathroom across the hall, letting Lauren sleep because she must have been exhausted from last night's trauma and having her sedative. I had a shower, brushed my teeth and put on some light make-up to cover the dark shadows underneath my eyes.

As I walked out I bumped into Christina, and we hugged each other tighter than usual; it was going to be a long day.

I crept back to our room, slipped on some jeans and a t-shirt and made my way down to breakfast.

It seemed only mom, dad, Christina and I were up and mom put some bread in the toaster for me before asking how I was feeling. 'Okay I guess. It feels a bit unreal.' I answered warily.

She nodded sympathetically and hugged me tight, and then I realised it was a tough time for her too; dad must have slept in the spare room last night.

Christina came down in an outfit similar to mine before putting bread in the toaster for herself. Two minutes later all six slices popped up and the three of us put butter on before biting in hungrily. The last thing I had to eat was pizza over 12 hours ago, but Christina and mom hadn't eaten since lunch yesterday!

We were halfway through our breakfasts when dad came in, he stopped when he saw mom but continued to come and make breakfast for himself before greeting us all.

He sat down next to Christina and for the next few minutes there was silence before Amy came down, and then the rest of my siblings came down slowly, except Dani. We all hugged each other and made our breakfast.

Mom stood up, 'Ok everyone we are leaving for the hospital in twenty minutes, so be ready in the van. We all nodded and I stood up and went to take a walk down the garden with Christina.

'Christina, do you tthink, once Dani's ok and remembers... do you think she'll want to continue the band? Will she remember?' I asked, unsure what to do as I stared awkwardly at my fingers.

'Lise, I'm sure she will remember once she sees the videos and bloopers, even if she only remembers the early ones. It will be ok, we will have to keep trying and everything will be ok.' She looked up at me and smiled shyly. Tears brimmed in our eyes and fell down our cheeks as we hugged each other tight.

After a few seconds we both let go, wiped the tears off our faces and turned back to the house. We were the last in the van but no-one minded because we were all there 5 minutes early, anxious to see Dani.
