Lauren's POV

I was lying in my bed trying to get to sleep when I saw my alarm clock; 00:00. I'd been trying to get to sleep for one and a half hours? Ugh.

I started thinking; three weeks ago today we brought home Dani, who has been getting stronger everyday. Yesterday was three weeks since we were told mom and dad were getting a divorce. We haven't Dani about the band or the divorce yet, or the reason she was on the road that Monday night.

I think they may tell her today. Dani now knows all of our names, ages, likes, dislikes, way around the house, she is practically the same. But of course the band.

We haven't tweeted, instagrammed a picture, done a cover, a video, anything for three weeks. Every so often I logged onto twitter and my mentions were full of the cimfam wondering where we were.

I decided to speak to Christina and Lisa about it. We needed to do something about the band.

Christina's POV

I woke up and smiled. It had been three weeks ago today we brought Dani home, and she was getting better everyday. I stumbled to the bathroom, had a shower, brushed my teeth, and went quietly back to my room where Katherine and Amy were sleeping. I quickly got dressed, went back to the bathroom to put on my make-up and brushed my hair. Ready!

As it was only 7:30 I decided to make breakfast for everyone, I don't think my parents are even up yet. I made pancake batter and set out plates round the table. At 8:00 there was no sign of life from any of my siblings, but mom and dad came down and greeted me.

Once they sat down and I served them pancakes, they had a serious look on their faces, mom began talking, 'Christina, as you probably know its been three weeks since Dani cam back, and your father and I have been talking. Today we are going to tell her privately about the divorce, though I want you to be there as well. Also, afterwards, we think you should tell her about the band with your sisters. Tell her a brief history and show her some youtube videos, before you can all go onto twitter, say sorry for not being in contact with your fans, and say there was some family trouble.'

Well. Thats a lot for Dani to take in. I replied, 'Um, sure. But I think we should tell everyone else about telling her first, so then they will al know.'

'Definitely, good idea sweetie.' mom replied warmly and I smiled. But then another thought crossed my mind and my face grew serious.

'Mom, dad, whats going to happen about going to north California, and will anyone go with you? Please don't go far away!' I pleaded with my parents.

Dad said, 'Don't worry, Chrissy. I'm not going to North California. I'm staying near here, just a few miles away. You can come visit anytime you want, and everything will be fine.' he said reassuringly and I breathed out a sigh of relief.

I hugged my parents and by then everybody else was coming down. Kath helped me serve breakfast and I checked Dani was sleeping before telling everyone what was happening later. They all nodded and agreed not to interfere.

Today was going to be great!

Dani's POV

I woke up and rolled over to look at my alarm clock, 8:47! Argh! Don't tell me breakfasts gone! I quickly showered, got dressed and brushed my hair before sprinting downstairs like a maniac.

'Wait! Don't eat it all1 Save some for meee!' I ran into the dining room to see all my family staring at me like I was mad. I straightened my clothes before walking casually to the pancake stack, grabbed one and sat down next to Lauren and Lisa.

I started to eat, then Lisa started laughing crazily and mom said 'Well. We definitely know its Dani! We've got her back!' All my siblings cheered for me and I laughed.

I then realized the date - I had come home from the hospital three weeks ago. I interrupted my family who were still cheering, 'Um, everyone? I've just realized that I've been here for three weeks, and I would like to say thank you.' I looked up at Lisa smling enouragingly at me before continuing, 'Thank you for helping me. For spending your time everyday to get my memory back. For carrying me up and down the stairs numerous times. For helping me.' I finished and there were tears in my eyes at the thought of my family who I barely knew, but I felt like I was family and I had never been in that accident.

I looked up frrom behind my hair and saw my parents crying, and all my siblings smiling at me like I had never left, never changed.

Christina came over and hugged me to death, but I just wrapped my arms around her and hugged her twice as hard. My little brothers came and joined in before all the family were in the group hug. I looked up and smiled, but not after long my vision was blurry with tears, and I silently said a prayer to God, thanking him for my family, my home, and my life.

2 hours later

I was listening to Big Time Rush on my iPod (it's true, I do love them like my family told me!)  when Christina and my parents came in and asked if I could go to the study with them. I nodded and followed Christina, who smiled back at me and squeezed my hand tight. What was going on?

I sat down in a chair opposite my parents, but next to Christina.

Mom started speaking, 'So Dani, you're probably wondering what this is all about?' I nodded.

'Well, on that Monday, over dinner, your father and I told yu and all of your siblings that we were getting a divorce.' My eyes widened. A divorce? My happy parents? My parents?

Mom continued, 'All you kids went your separate ways to think. Basically, you were upset so you wanted to leave, and as you stepped into the road a car ran you over.'

I felt my throat constrict as I tried to breath. As I choked flashbacks came into my mind, all of us round the table. Mom talking. Tears on our faces. The bench with Joey. Running away. My family chasing me. The car coming. An immense force smashing into me. The flashbacks stopped but I carried on choking.

My world became black.

Christina's POV

Dani was in control as Mom told her about the divorce and how she was ran over, but then she had a weird look on her face as she started coughing. After a few seconds she grew extremely pale and I realised she wasn't coughing. She was choking. I tried to lay her on the floor in the recovery position and her mouth opened to scream as her broken right leg hit the floor hard, but no sound came out.

Dad called 911 as I saw she wasn't breathing anymore. I screamed out and Mike, my older brother came into the room. He saw Dani laying motionless, mom and I kneeling over her hysterically and Mike charged forward and started CPR.

The next few minutes were a blur.  The paramedics came and checked she was breathing - Mike's CPR had worked, then she went into the back of an ambulance and mom went with her. I called everyone to the front door and told them briefly what happened before we ran to the car, I drove to the hospital and Dad reassured the little boys.

We arrived and we jumped out before running to recpetion. 'Danielle Cimorelli' I panted.

The nurse replied, 'Room 148, just down the hall on the right.' Mike thanked her as we charged to the waiting room outside Dani's room.

Mom was sitting there, her expression blank. She looked up, saw us and started to cry.

'Mom,' I said, 'Is Dani ok?'
