Maybe you are too
To say what we want
To say, I love you
Maybe we're still terrified
Of hearing the answer, no
To be denied and rejected
To be treated so low
Maybe we're cowards
To face the risks and all
Maybe we don't have the courage
To stand from a great fall
And see where that takes us
Being cowards let us break
We turned down every risk
Never knowing they're opportunities to take
It only tore us
If we only had the strength to fight
