Dear mom and dad,

Believe me, I study
But these letters seem to fly
I seek,
I learn,
But I just want to cry.

Can't you see me struggling?
These numbers are all over me
I try
To learn
But I just want to be free

I want to go up the stage too
Like how brother and sister do
I want,
I try,
But it isn't enough for you

These letters, these numbers
Keep running on my head
One way
Or another
They say they want me dead

I'm bleeding
There are scars on my side
But
Do you even care
About what I feel inside?

Dear mom and dad,

I kinda feel tired
I know you gave up already

Instead on the stage
I climb on the chair
Gathered all my courage
And tied me up there

Dear mom and dad,

If ever I won't survive,

I just wanna ask,

Are grades more important than my life?
