Time

Staring at the serene sky
Looking past the stars' radiant glow
The city lights flashed in my eyes
The coordination was beautiful, I know.

The trees and birds and wind were singing
The moon was hanging quite low
Is it a shame to say
I'm still thinking of something that happened long ago?

I still remember how we started
But the ending was quite a blur
It happened so quick, so fast
It was as if we drained our color.

Everything changed until then,
When you seemed to forgot about me
Little by little
To no contact at all
Should I just let it be?

I used to have the whole day
Until it became half, to an hour
I then asked for two minutes
But then you said you can give me nothing more

I couldn't blame time for our end
For time is always free
You should know that it was you
Who ran out of time for me
