Young Prince

There you are, young prince

Handsome and flawless as ever

Standing in the middle of everyone

But your eyes were only stucked on her.

You came closer to the princess

And then she bloomed a smile

Her smile caught you instantly

Your world froze for a while.

You took her hand and gave it a kiss

She blushed and looked away

She bowed down to give respect

To the prince of Faraway.

You danced with her then the clock strucked twelve

She let go and ran from the ball

No she isn't Cinderella, nor Princess Aurora

She was just a servant after all.

You never met her again

Until such time passed by

You were married to another princess

Vowing to be with her til the end of life.

Then there came an invitation from another kingdom

Just for another ball

You politely declined

Without knowing it's her call.

But your wife wanted to go

And so you granted what she wants.

Making your way with your dear young princess

The princess you just met for months.

Alas you arrived at a very luxurious palace

Then you met their queen and king

They were about to introduce their daughter

The one who was long lost missing.

It turned out to be her!

The girl you searched for so long!

Your world was completely frozen

Even you know it's wrong

She went to you and hugged you

Without a second thought

The girl you looked for years

The girl you always sought.

But then came your wife

Saying you were hers

The princess asked you to decline it

But silence was what she heard.

The princess said she'd been waiting

To finally be perfect for you

But her waiting didn't end up what she wanted

She thought she would have you

There you are, young prince

Then there's the girl you'd been dreaming

If you just waited, waited for a while

She was what you're getting.
