The following morning - Boxing Day- we all woke up around nine, and considering we woke up earlier than that on Christmas day, I think it was an improvement. Everyoe was relaxed, still in a chritsmas mood and was lively, except for myself. I had a lot on my mind and all Skye wanted to do was misbehave.

"Skye, come here! I need to get you ready!" I shouted from the top of the stairs. I looked down the satirs and saw her run from the kitchen to the frontroom. "Skye! We don't have time for this!" I shouted, again.

"Hey, what's with all the shouting?" I heard Michael ask from behind me.

"Skye's not doing as she is told and I've just got a lot of stuff to do. Sorry if I woke you, Mike." I imeediatley felt guilty for waking him, knowing he probably didn't sleep till at least three in the morning.

"Nah, it's fine. Is there anything that I can do?" he asked, yawning.

"Actually, could you give Harry a ring and let him know that they can come over at any time- I was meant to call him but I've-"

"Mimi, i will call him. Just don't panic so much, Little One!" he brought me into a hug which just reminded me of my brother. We used to be this close. but now I had Michael, Ashton and Calum and I was quite happy with them.

"I really must get Skye changed, Mikey. I will talk to you after, remember to call Harry though." he nodded his head and I ran down stairs, on search for my mischevious daughter. "Skye, last time I'm going to tell you- come and get changed!" I heard her squeal and she was brought to me.

"Seems like I have found a naked Skye running around, on my travels, would you like her?" Luke said and laughed.

"I would. Skye, please just please behave today! We have a lot of people coming over, I need you to be a good girl for mummy and daddy okay?" she nodded her head and I was hoping that she'd stick to it.

Just so she'd be good, I let her choose her own outfit. Well, partially. At first she wanted to wear her spiderman outfit that Michael had got her, but seeing as we would have a lot of people over, I decided on persuading her to dress like a Princess. So she went with a princess dress that was completed with a large bow on the back. "See, you look gorgeous!" I said, and sighed in relief of finally being able to dress her.

"Mimi, Harry and Lou are here!" Michael called up and I gasped. I was still in tracksuit bottoms and a vest with my hair up in a bun. I had the mental message telling me to slip something nice on quickly, but my body said otherwise. I walked downstairs and greeted our guests.

"Everyone is either in the frontroom, lounge, kitchen or the garden or getting changed upstairs. Feel free to mingle with everyone and there will be others arriving in a bit. Now, I must get changed, and may I add, Lux you are looking so gorgeous! I love your dress!" she blushed and ran over to see Skye. Lou, Harry and I had made small talk before I headed to my room to change. I had many dresses, some my own creations, others bought from designers because creations like theirs are truly gorgeous. I had decided on a strong red long dress with a silky fabric that had a slight draped look on my body. But I was happy with the way I looked, with my makeup and hair done in my own way.

"Wowza," Luke breathed as he walked out the bathroom. We met in the hall way and he looked cracking.

"I'm liking the suit, Mr Hemmings." I said, straightening out his tie.

"and I'm loving you in this dress, even if it does cause my heart to freak." I giggled a bit and fell into his hug, embracing his warm, gorgeous smelling, strong body. Camera clicks went off behind me, which caused Luke and I to broke apart.

"Mum," Luke whined. "you could've asked for a picture you know, you don't have to act like the paps." Liz shook her head.

"But that monment right there couldn't have been planned. Can I have a picture of you guys together? You both look gorgeous!" Luke and I posed for our photos, some silly others serious.

"Come on though, we've got guests here!" Luke said, dragging me down the stairs.

We both walked past the front room and saw that Andrew and Harry discussing something with their drinks in hand, I decided not to disturb them, seeing as they looked deep in conversation. Liz was running around aking photos of anyone and everything- decorations, plenty of Skye, loads of Luke and I and loads of the boys. After seeing everyone and greeting them- which took a good hour or so- I realised two people were missing. Ashton and Ria.

I had asked almost everyone yet nobody had seen them, and the last place I thought they would be was out in the garden on a cold boxing day in London. "Guys, what are you doing out here?" I chuckled.

They both looked at eachother, and Ria took a deep breath. "Mimi, would it be weird if your two bestfriends were to become more than friends to one another?" She asked and a smile grew on my face.

"Oh you guys!" I squealed, hugging Ashton. "There's nothing I want more than you two together!" Ashton hugged back and whispered a small thankyou in my ear. "I will leave you guys to it!"

"Oh, actually, can I talk to you?" Ria asked and I stayed behind as Ashton left us.

"Are you alright?" I staretd, growing nervous quickly.

"I just want to talk to you!" she laughed. I looked at her confused.

"Why on earth are you outside then? It's cold, it's winter and it's boxing day. Are you crazy?"

"Yes, yes I am my dear friend. But I want to tell you something."

"Oh god, you're not pregnant are you?" she smacked my arm and we both laughed.

"No, but I've got some news." she whispered. I nodded my head as my heart pounded in my chest. "I'm getting married." she said. I was shocked, my mouth hung open and dropped to the floor. I was honeslty speechless, and Ria being the idiot she is added- "I'm only kidding. I'm not down for marriage just yet." Then it was my turn to whack her arm and we both sat there laughing at eachother, for whatever reason.

I missed moments like this with Ria. Being the stupid teenage girls we were, that were in love with certain famous people that we had no chance with. I missed the way we'd laugh about everything and argue about anything, but no matter what happened, she was my bestfriend, and I wouldn't have it any other way. She helped me so much. Loosing my mum hit me hard, and Ria was there, picking up the pieces and she didn't realise that. Even though I haven't included much about Ria on this journey, she was there when I needed someone. It was her I went to when I had no idea what to do, no where to go and she lifted my spirits when it was impossible for everyone else. She stuck up through my tantrums, my strops, my bitchiness and my struggles- but not forgetting the good times. She had me in stitches, made me laugh so hard and caused my stomach to hurt from laughing so much and the memories we'd created together will be taken to the grave.

"Jason contacted me and he wants to see Skye." she said and my heart plummeted to the ground. "Now, I understand if you don't want that just yet, but he has grown into someone new and I just don't want to keep him waiting." I had to make a decision then and there. After all, Jason was Skye's biological father, but he hadn't tried to help me once. Not when I was a young, pregnant girl and not when I was a young teenage mum. Four years it took him to get in contact.

"I want to see him first." I said. "He can only see Skye, if he meets me first." she nodded her head.

"He knew you'd say that, you meet him on New Years Eve." I gasped. That was only a few days away and I had plans with Luke! "He also said you could bring your- well Luke could go too." I nodded my head. I was okay with meeting Jason, it was just trying to convince Luke.

The rest of the night went better than expected, and I think they all had a good time. Ashton and Ria went to bed at around twelve, and Skye wanted to sleep in their room with them- which was extremely cute. Harry had decided to camp out in the front room and Lux and Lou were in Skye's bed for the night. Calum and Michael stayed in their own room as did Luke and I. Due to the boys being such party animals, Luke and I didn't end up going to bed till around four. Yes, I was exteemly tired, but we all had a good laugh, so it was definitely worth it.
