I felt out of place and weird all the girls around me were in short skirts and crop tops. And I was just in my boring old jeans and a Four Non Blondes T-shirt. Everyone looked like they belonged, in their nature place, and well liked. I sat in the corner and observed. One girl with hot pink hair was talking about a poorer girl in her math class. Another boy was talking about how big her butt was and how he would like to "tap" it. I found boys quite repulsive and annoying. Most girls my age are throwing themselves at them. Especially James, every girl loves him and would do anything for him. He's dating a girl named Hannah, she's really sweet but she is always shoving her tongue down a different guy's thought every weekend.
"Hey guys lets play 7 minutes in heaven! I have a bottle and we can sit together in this circle over their." Yelled Kelly her voice was super preppy and high pitched. She gave the bottle to Megan to start and she landed on Ryan. It soon became James turn. Everyone began to laugh.
"Come on, let's go." I suddenly saw that he landed on me, I became scared and worried. James reached out his hand and took me into the closet. He turned off the lights and pulled me in and kissed me. It was strange. The kiss was amazing and comforting until his fingers ran up my back. I quickly pushed him off. He began to laugh. "What are you doing here? You obviously don't belong."
"Sorry" I ran out of the closet tears running down my face. Everyone stared.
"It's only been 5 minutes." Said Kelly who was enjoying my pain and humility. I ran out of the house down the street feeling sick to my stomach. I knew I was out of place.
