Chapter 21: Oops

Irene shut Luke's front door after she said bye to him and kissed him and then she started going to her house.

'One... Two... Three steps... Oops. No... Not the freaking line... ugh... Gongrats.' she said to herself while she was walking on the pavement that led to her house.
When she had reached the steps out of her front door, happy that she was going back home, she took her keys out of her pocket and unlocked the door, entering into the warm hallway. She took her shoes off, placing them into the shoe rack that was next to the door and got rid of her cardigan, hunging it on a hook. Irene now walked further into the hallway and reached the kitchen's opening where her destination was. The fridge. She turned right and got inside the kitchen, regreting it right away.

"Tell me that you're not doing what I think you're doing!" she said to the two shocked people who where in the kitchen and more specifically, Sophia on top of the kitchen's counter with Ashton in between her legs.

"EW! What the fuck Sophia? I don't know what you're going to do but if you don't clean the whole kitchen I'm not eating in this house ever again! Ew, ew, ew." Irene said, covering her eyes.

"When you and Luke do it on the sofa I don't come to you complaining about it!" Sophia shouted.

"Last time I checked, normal people don't eat from the sofa's seats! They usually prepare their food on the kitchen's counter, instead!" she said and walked out of the kitchen, uncovering her eyes.

"Why are you even here this early? I thought you were going to sleep at Luke's, not wake up really early at Luke's!" Sophia said and got off the counter, wearing her pijamas so that she could go where Irene was.

"Don't change the subject! Your butt touched our kitchen's counter! I will never be able to eat in this house again without thinking of your bum! Can you understand how serious that is?" Irene said disgusted.

"You wanted us to get together. This has its consequences!" Sophia said and folded her arms, getting in front of her friend.

"I wanted you to get together! Not have sex wherever! There's a difference!" Irene told her.

"Irene!" Sophia gasped.

"Sophia!" Irene mimicked her voice.

They both were staring at eachother for a few minutes until they heard a faint voice calling for Sophia. Both of them turned their heads to the kitchen's direction, where the sound came from, and saw Ashton's head picking out of the kitchen's opening.

"Yes?" Sophia said after she realised he needed something.

"Could you please go upstairs and bring me my jeans and my t-shirt?" he said and closed his eyes, blushing.

"Ugh... Yes. I'm going. Wait there!" she said and quickly paced to the stairs and up to her bedroom.

The awkwardness between Ashton and Irene was indescribable. They both wished Sophia would return as quick as possible.

"So..." Ashton trailed off in a try to make the situation less awkward. "Did you and Luke had fun yesterday?" he asked and regretted his choice of words right away.

"U-Uhm... Yeah... We did. What about you and Sophia?" she asked and looked at the floor.

"We did." he said and blushed.

Irene's hands became really interesting at that point. The awkward silence returned on an even worse level.

"Ashton! I can't find your t-shirt!" Sophia shouted from upstairs.

"Uhm, yeah! Cause you're wearing it!" he said afterwards.

"Oops!" Sophia squealed.

It took a few more seconds for Sophia to find another top to wear and go back down.

"I wasn't late, was I?" she said looking at the other two people who looked at her coming down the stairs.

Ashton and Irene looked at her angrily making her shrugg and walk to the kitchen where Ashton was.

"Here." she smiled and gave Ashton his clothes.

"Thanks." he smiled back and kissed her on the cheek making her blush.

"You're welcome." she said shyly.

Ashton put his jeans and t-shirt on quickly and Sophia helped him fix his hair a bit. She bent to unfold his jean leg and then stood back up. Ashton gave her a quick surprise kiss which made her smile and kiss him back.

Irene coughed from the living room.

"I might am not able to see but I can hear you." she said making them both look at eachother and laugh.

Sophia joined their hands and pulled him gently, kissing the top of his hand.

"Let's go inside." she said and looked at him.

Ashton nodded and Sophia started walking to the living room with his hand in hers. When they were into Irene's sight she looked at them happily.

"Aw... You two cute lovebirds...!" she said and smiled at them. "If I ever find you doing something similar in the kitchen I'm going to kick both of you out of this house for good. Go and have sex at Ashton's kitchen!" she said then erasing the smile of her face.

Sophia looked at her disaprovinlgly and Ashton tried to hide behind Sophia's hair.

"You don't have to cook you know... I can to it if you're so disguised." Sophia said.

"I'll eat the food that you'll be cooking, you idiot!" Irene said then. "You have a whole room of your own, isn't that enough?"

"Okay. We talked about this enough! Change of subject!" Sophia demanded.

"Have you said anything to Calum yet?" Irene smirked.

"No, Irene... What was I supposed to do? Call him this early in the morning and tell him that Ashton and I... you know." she said and pointed at herself and Ashton.

"Nice! I'll call him and tell him about it. We were trying to get you two together all this time and they don't know that you finally are together! I HAVE to tell all of them!" Irene said and took her phone out of her pocket.

"Irene! Are you serious?" Sophia gasped when she saw her friend putting her cellphone on her ear.

Irene didn't give her much attention. She was just waiting for Calum to pick his phone up.

"Yeah? Calum?" she said. "Tell the other two to come next to you and put the phone on the speaker." she ordered and did the same, winning another disapproving look from Sophia.

"Okay, we're all here." Calum sounded from the speaker.

"Can you all hear me?" she asked.

"Yes!" they all answered.

"Nice. So, I come into the house this morning, I walk in the kitchen and what is the first thing I see?" she asked.

"IRENE!" Sophia shouted and tried taking her friend's phone.

"Sophia and Ashton having sex on MY kitchen counter!" Irene shouted while trying to escape from Sophia and made the three boys laugh.

Sophia gave up on trying to end the call and went back to Ashton who had an embarassed look on his face.

"There is no chance they're going to let this down, is there?" she asked when she saw him.

"No..."
