The doorbell rung.
"Coming!" Irene shouted from the living room. She stood up from the sofa, turning the TV off and went to unlock the front door.
"Oh, hello! Welcome!" Irene told Sophia. "You forgot your keys on the table today." she said when Sophia got into the house.
"I kind of figured that out myself, thank you... That's why I rung the doorbell..." Sophia said and walked upstairs to her bedroom. Irene followed her.
"Are you mad at something?" Irene asked her and sat on Sophia's bed.
"Is it that obvious?" Sophia said while taking off her shoes. She placed her bag on her desk and wore her pyjamas.
"Oh yes..." Irene smiled. "What happened?"
"Of what it seems, I might have to find a new job when we'll start school because they do not need me in the afternoons but only in the mornings... pfft... here we o again... oh my god... like everything else wasn't enough now I will have to look for a new job!" Sophia said in the verge of crying.
"Aw... Come here..." Irene said and pulled Sophia in her arms. "Don't stress little one... we'll get through this... come ooon... If it's needed I'll find a job too." Irene told her trying to calm her down.
"No. You will not do anything. You'll have so much studying to do and you shouldn't be pressured... I'll figure it out on my own." Sophia said.
"Yeah, right... Whatever you say... You'll be working all day and I'm going to be laying in bed and eating all day and spending your money... nope..." Irene said.
"Irene... I said something." Sophia answered angrily.
"Okay, okay... Did you eat anything? Because I have..." Irene said.
"Yep. I did." Sophia said smiling at Irene.
"Good... I'm going to the toilet and then we are seeing a movie, okay? You go and choose what we'll watch." Irene told Sophia and left the room to go to the bathroom. Sophia stood up from her bed and went to the living room to find a good movie to watch. Just as she was about to put the movie to the television the doorbell rung. Irene was just going down the stairs.
"Coming!" Irene shouted and run to the door.
"Hi!" she said smiling.
"Hey!" Luke who was standing at the door, said. "We were wondering if you guys could come to help us with some boxes that came... If you want, of course..." Luke said while looking at Irene.
"Weren't they supposed to come yesterday?" Irene asked.
"Yeah, the didn't make it afterall and we had to sleep on the floor..." he said whilst smiling at Irene.
"Aw... Poor you..." she said and laughed. "We're coming in 10'" she told him.
"Thank you so much!" Luke said with a big smile on his face. "See you later!" he said finally and said bye to Irene.
"See ya..." she said and closed the door when he left.
"Get dressed." Ire told Sophia.
"I am dressed..." Sophia said.
"Yeah... Yesterday you were freaking out becuse you were only wering a t-shirt and now your're over it?" Irene said ironically.
"He told you to go... Do I have to come as well? I've humiliated myself enough already..." Sophia said whining.
"Firstly, he said and I'm quoting him 'We were wondering if YOU GUYS could come to help us' so he was refering to both of us. Secondly, the worse thing that could happen to you is to drop the box your're holding, stumble on it and fall... It's not that bad... You've done worse than that..." Irene told Sophia who was laying down on the sofa.
