Briar's pov
As me and Myles are walking to the park, so much is going through my mind. He can see people's pasts? How is that even possible? It can't be! No one can see pasts! That's crazy.

When me and Myles arrive at the park, I see one of my friends. I know about her past. To be honest, it's quite sad. Her mother died when she was four and her father died when she was fifteen. She lived alone and did everything herself. She told me that when she met me on the streets. We became friends from then on! If Myles can tell me about her, then I'll believe her.

"Myles." I say and stop him from walking.
"Yeah?" He asks and turns to look at me.
"My friend is over there, tell me her past." I say and cross my arms.
"Ok." He says and takes a deep breath.

Myles' pov
I stare at the girl for about ten seconds until the vision comes into my head. I see her as a small child, upset. Her mother died. Throughout her childhood, she lived with her father. But when she was fifteen, her father died. She was crying on the floor but, she didn't go into care. She lived by herself, and still is.

My eyes go back to reality and I see Briar starring at me.
"Well?" She asks.
"Her mother died when she was little and when she was fifteen, her father died. She lived alone from then on." I say while panting.
That was so sad!

Briar places her hand over her mouth in shock. She even looks a little scared. I hope she isn't afraid of me! Oh no, she thinks I'm a freak! She thinks I'm a freak! She'll kick me out and tell everyone to avoid me!

Briar's pov
He can see pasts! How is this possible? This is weird but kind of cool. I get snapped out of my thoughts when I see Myles' sad face.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"You probably think I'm a freak and you'll kick me out." He says with a sigh.
"What? No I don't! Ok, maybe it's a little weird but that's ok! Weird is good and you seem really nice. I'm sorry for not believing you, I won't kick you out." I say and put my hand on his shoulder.

"Phew. It's ok, I understand why you wouldn't believe me and thank you for letting me stay." I say with a sigh of relief.
"That's ok. Now let's get home, it's getting dark." She says and we walk home.

Once we get home, we cook dinner together and go to bed. I wander what will happen tomorrow, maybe I should look for a job.
