Briar's pov
As soon as I get out of the airport, I see Abbey. Quickly, I run over to her and she gives me a smile. I smile back and get in her car. She gets in as well and starts driving. I want to scream at her to drive quicker but I can't get mad at her. In fact, I haven't even told her about Myles. Maybe I should. She's my sister, she deserves to know.

"So why did you want to meet me? You moved a few days ago." Abbey says, looking confused.
"Do you want to know the truth about why I need to go to the science lab?" I ask, looking straight at her but she keeps her eyes on the road.
"Yes! I have no idea what's going on!" She yells, frustrated.
"Do you promise to believe me about what I'm about to say?" I ask.
"Yes!" She replies, driving faster.

I take a deep breath before explaining everything to her. When me and Myles met and when he left. She did look a little shocked. I guess that means she doesn't believe me.

"Wow." She says, her eyes widening.
"So you don't believe me?" I ask in a sad tone.
"No, of course I believe you! They didn't believe the chipmunks could talk, but they could." She says, referring to the movie.

I laugh a little at her comment and so does she. But I soon stop when I she stops the car.
"Here we are." She says and gets out of the car.
I look out of my window and see the building we arrived at. You couldn't tell it was a science lab from the outside. It was made of stone and looked very old. There was ivy growing up it and a great stone wall with pieces of glass sticking at of it surrounded the building. Gosh, it looks horrible.

"How do you know this is the lab?" I ask her as I step out the car.
"Our dad worked here for a month the year after you left." She says.
"WHAT?! HE WORKED HERE?!" I yell.
"Shhh! Keep quiet or they'll here us! Yes, dad worked here. He left because all they did was experiment on a boy- oh my gosh. That must've been Myles!" She exclaims.
"So dad experimented on him?" I ask sadly.
"Yeah." She replies.
Oh poor Myles.

"We have to get in, but how?" I ask.
"I know a back entrance! Follow me, don't make a sound!" She whispers and starts walking around the back of the building.

Gosh, this is quite scary! I've never done anything like this before! But I have to do this! I can't let Myles get hurt, even if he already is. I have to save him, I have to!
