Briar's pov
I jump out of bed and get dressed as quickly as I can. I don't bother with my hair, I just tie it into a high ponytail. Then, I call a taxi to pick me up. I run so fast down the stairs to wait for the taxi to arrive, I almost fall! About ten minutes later, a yellow car arrives outside my house and I run down the path towards it holding my purse. As soon as I jump inside, I say, "Go to the airport, now!"
"Ok, ok calm down." He says and starts driving.
All I can think about is Myles. He said that he would be being tortured now! Tortured! I don't want this to happen! My poor Mylo is being tortured. What are they doing to him? When did he go? How did he realise who Mr Smith really was? I can't believe this is actually happening!
I'm taken out of my thoughts when the driver says, "We're here. That's fifteen pounds please."
"Here. Keep the change." I say and give him a twenty pound note.
Then, I dash out of the car into the airport and look around for someone. I see a person in uniform standing in the corner of the room so I run towards him. He must work here.
"Please, you have to get me on the next flight to Canada! I have money!" I yell, panicking.
"Ok, it's leaving in ten minutes. Come with me." He says and starts running.
I follow him and, in five minutes, we're walking onto the plane. He explains to the cabin crew about my situation so I payed for the flight and showed them my passport which was luckily in my purse. I'm led to the only available seat and before I know it, we're taking off. It reminds me about the time when me and Myles moved to England. When he was afraid of the plane taking off and landing. Good memories, well all my memories with him are good. I just hope I can save him.
After an hour of starring out the window, I get my phone out of my pocket. I realise that I have wifi, so I text Abbey.
B- Abbey, pick me up from the airport in five hours.
A- You're coming back to Canada?!
B- Well, not to live. It's a long story but do you know where the science lab is?
A- Yeah, I found it yesterday lol. Why?
B- Take me there! I'll explain on the way.
A- Ok, see you in a bit! X
Phew! She knows where the science lab is! I never thought that she was that intelligent!
