"It's time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad and i'd much rather say hello. Hello to a new adventure." -- Ernie Harwell.

The goodbyes took forever! I can't handle goodbyes. Never could and I still can't. It's just hard to move on if you know you are leaving something good behind. But if there is no goodbye it means it doesn't have to end, right? As soon as I said my fair share of goodbyes, I jumped straight into my car. I'm leaving this school and all my other friends, teachers, hall monitors, and even the lady who came around on Thursday nights with a weird wailing cat who told the younger girls stories about her cat being a cursed witch, and if you ask me, it was all too cliche. But still I'm going to miss it all so much!

"Zo-eeeeee!" Kim screamed right in my ear. Well, through the radio system of my car. We all have our own cars and decided to ride them to college in style. We have 'installed' this enchanted speaker into our cars which connects our cars so its like we are sitting right next to each other and talking instead of being in different cars.

"Ah! What Kimmy?!" I answered while trying to shake out the ringing in my ear, from Kim's high-pitched scream, with one hand and holding the steering wheel straight with the other.

"We are going to be there any second now!" Through my left side window, I could see that Kim was practically jumping up and down in her seat. I just rolled my eyes but it was amusing and I was glad we were finally there. She had annoyed all of us for the past forteen hours that it took to drive here with her continuous "Are we there yet?" and she was finally going to stop. I had suggested that we just fly our cars all the way there and get there as fast as possible but, if the look on Karin's face was anything to go by, I knew that she was better of staying grounded. Karin loved the ground and if she was away from it, she would feel unsafe and drained. So, I had said I felt a little queasy and we all decided to take the torturous drive instead of taking the express which was a less than two hour fly over in our yummy cars.

"Hey Zo! I can see you...cracking a smile." Lily said in a teasing voice.

"Yea and?" I didn't have to lie about how excited I was. I was going to be attending one of the best universities with my more-than-besties. It was every girl's dream come true.

"And nothing just -" Lily was still continuing when Karin cut in, "Alright guys! Next left and we are in!" We could all practically hear the smile in her voice.

"Someone seems more excited than Kim!" Lily finished and at which Karin through her a glare. "Hey, don't you glare at me, I didn't mention any names." Lily continued.

"As if that's even possible!" I finished and looked at Lily and then we both looked at Kim and we cracked up. Which ended quick enough as we saw the University. One word to describe it: enormous. Straight ahead, I saw what looked like half of one of the domes the ancient Roman gladiators fought in except, this building looked brand new with glass doors and windows all over.

Towards the bottom of the semi-dome were all illusion glass windows which extended throughout the first floor of the entire campus. Illusion glass is a type of glass which hides the things going on inside a room and gives the passer a fake image like shadow of what's really going on inside. How did I know it was illusion glass? Simple, all the windows were showing a different image. Plus, I used the same technique on the windows of my sweet ride. Towards the right of the semi-dome and outside the illusion glass were signs that read Main Office, Guidance, Security, and all the other offices. While the Main Office looked like a train station through the illusion glass, the Guidance Office looked like a hair salon.

The rest of the buildings looked pretty straight forward with their square-block shape. There were many buildings extending straight out on the left and right sides of the semi-dome. Many were stores and shops while other buildings were for certain classes. The buildings extended on for what felt like forever and would at least take us a good half an hour drive to reach the semi-dome, where the main office is, from the main gate, where we were currently staring at the site in front of us.
