"If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done." -- Ecclesiastes
Zoey's P.O.V.
Thanks to Zak, everything went perfect! I thought Zak wouldn't make it in time, but luckily, he did. He saved me from apologizing to that idiot. But now, I have other worries to take care of. Today, I have to turn in my paper on the family tree and I have no idea what to do about it. I haven't even started or have any idea where to start from and it's due in less than two hours! I guess I can ask Zak. I have to talk to him, any way.
"Hey, Zak!" I said as I walked into his room. After the night at the club, Kim wanted to be alone. She didn't want any of us around. I don't know if she knows what Andrew's been up to, but I'm not about to hurt her if she does trust him. Anyway, Lily and Karin said to give Kim her space and that's what we are doing by staying away from Kim.
"Zak?" No response. I looked all around the room, until I saw a giant, human-sized, lump on Zak's bed. There was only one thing to do, I took a running pounce toward the lump of blanket on the bed and landed on top of Zak as he let out a loud groan.
"Can't anyone just let me sleep?" He groggily said as I pulled the blanket of his head. He groaned again as the scarce amount of light in the room hit his face.
"Nope!" I remained on top of him. "Now, get up because I need your help." He tried to pull the blanket back on top of his head.
"I don't help anyone before...what time is it?"
"It's almost six-"
"Exactly! Why are you waking me up in the middle of the night?!" Zak exclaimed.
"Cuz, like I said, I need your help."
"Fine," he sighed and mumbled, "It's not like I can sleep now, anyway." He got up from his bed and threw his legs over the side of the queen sized bed.
I smiled, "Good."
"Stop with the cheerfulness and tell me what you want."
"Well, I have to make a paper on my family tree for History of Creatures and I asked some friends for help, but we found nothing on my family tree. I need it today for class and I know that you have a way to get around doing your assignments, that's the only way you could possibly have so much time on your hands." Somehow, I knew I could trust Zak with anything. It was like we had some sort of connection, that we knew each other in the past.
"Ah, you have come to the right place." Zak said as he rubbed his hands together. "I can help you with that. I will make your assignment and get it to you before class, wait outside the class and I will get it to you."
"Make my assignment?" I asked in confusion.
"Don't worry about it." Zak waved me off.

I have a good half an hour before I need to get to class. I miss hanging out with Lily and Karin - except they are too busy with god knows what. And visting Kim was out of the question. Maybe I should meet up with Will before class begins.
Ringing the bell to Will's dorm, I waited for a response. "Come in!" Hachi responded from inside.
"Hey! Is Will here? I wanted to go to class with him."
"Oh yeah. He'll be out in a minute."
"Cool. So what have you been up to?"
"Nothing much. I almost forgot! What happened with your project? It's due today- right?" She added as an after thought.
"Yup. I have it all figured out."
"What's all figured out?" Will asked as he walked out his room.
"My project. We need to leave or we'll be late."
"Okay, okay." And after a quick good-bye kiss to Hachi from Will and a quick hug from me to Hachi, Will and I left for class.

"Where is he?" I asked as Will waited with me outside class.
"Where is who and why are we waiting, again?" Will asked me.
"Z-" I started
"I'm here!" Zak came running.
"Finally! The paper?" I asked to make sure he didn't forget the reason he came here. Sometimes, you just can't trust Zak.
"I have it, so don't worry so much!" He said while messing my hair up by giving me some kind of nudgie.
"Hey-" I was about to ccomplain but was cut off by Zak.
"You're Will, right?" Will nodded.
After taking a gulp, Will continued, "Z-zak, You k-know my name?" Will had a look of shock and suprise deeply lacing his features.
"Course, I know you. You're the guy that works the Anti-Council's-," Zak looked toward Will with confused eyes.
"Historical Committee" Will finished. Judging by Will's starstruck features, and the way Will treated Zak as a celebrity, I could tell that he saw Zak as an idol.
"Right, right. The Historical Committee. " Over the last couple of days, I had gotten to know Zak really well. Too well, in fact. And judging by the way he was talking to Will, I could tell he knew exactly who Will was and what his job was. He just wanted to act cool and inflate his ego even at Will's expense. Due to Zak's eyes and posture, I could tell he was in full out over protective brother mode as he slung his arm around my shoulders.
After rolling my eyes at the species that people call male, I removed Zak's arm and pulled Will into class, but not before telling Zak to pick me up at four.

Mr. Crocklin's History of Origin of Creatures class continued as he continued last week's lesson, "Now that you guys know where you all come from, we need to look at why," and he underlined why on the board. "Everyone's power comes from a certain place, but what makes the most suitable environment for it? What kind of energy is it? Good or bad? Does using it leave you drained or refreshed? All these questions reveal a lot more about an individual. So, I want you guys to..." He didn't even have to finish the sentence before the class let out a prolonged groan.
"Pssst..." I looked towards my right at Will with a questioning look. "What are you gonna do for this paper?"
"Don't worry, I will get Zak to do it, again." And as soon as I finished those words, the bell rang signaling that class is over. "See ya later!"
"Wait!" And I turned to look at Will, yet again, with a questioning look. "Hachi has always wanted to meet Zak and if I tell her I met him before her then she will kill me, so is there any way..." He looked nervous to complete that sentence.
"Um, tomorrow night sound good?" Will smiled widely, reminding me more of a puppy than a werewolf or Agatheon thingy.

Ms. Younker's class was pretty uneventful as she explained tactics that Lily and I already knew so we talked about what we have been up to.
After the bell rang, I headed downstairs and towards the parking lot outside the Gym Building as Zak was supposed to be waiting for me.
As I waited, out of nowhere, a giant power ball came flying towards me, and pushed me out the way. As I fell, I closed my eyes and I tried to cling onto whatever was nearest, but that only caused the weight to fall on me.
As I opened me eyes to check if it was safe, I saw the most beautiful pair of dark, almost black eyes, staring at me.
