"Hey Arthur... Are you awake...?" Break questioned, knocking the door a dozen times, Arthur's sword in his hand... Arthur sat up in his bed, his head held low as he stared at his hands... Time had restarted... Once again he was going to have to restart his journey to the witch's tower... He lifted his hand to his throat, the sensation of it being clogged no longer there... He went to touch it, before he then retracted his hand... The burst of knocking came through his door as Arthur remained sat in his bed silently...
"Hey Arthur, do you want your sword or what?" Break inquired, about to pound the door to piece another twenty times over, when the door then opened as Arthur stood before Break with a gloomy expression on his face... He stood at the door for a few seconds, not saying anything, but instead holding out his hand for the sword... He was going to have to set off early, if he wanted to make it to the inn early... Break stared at Arthur for a few seconds, before he then sighed to himself, scratching the back of his head, before putting his hand on Arthur's shoulder, snapping Arthur out of it for a moment. "Come back to the palace forge; let me get you some food and a drink..." Break told Arthur as Arthur gave a somewhat shocked expression...
"E-Eh but I have a mission-"Arthur began when Break began to drag him off.
"It can wait..." Break told him sternly, as he dragged Arthur back to his workshop..."Night terror's huh?" Break questioned, putting some bacon and eggs onto a plate as Arthur nodded whilst yawning... He didn't see the point in telling Break his true ordeal, until he had broke his curse... If things went wrong again, he knew Break would end up forgetting this discussion even existed... "You need to lay off the sweetbread before bed..." Break then scolded him as Arthur gave a stiff look as he nodded, distinctively remembering hearing that line before... Break put the plate of food in front of Arthur, who thanked Break for the food, about to dig in, before he then noticed the bacon... He then paused, giving a somewhat disgusted expression as Break caught him staring at his bacon with distaste, before frowning a little.
"What's wrong? You love bacon!" Break pointed out as Arthur started on the egg instead, pushing his bacon to the side...
"I just don't feel like it today..." Arthur answered as Break tutted, turning around...
"Being rich has made you nice mouthed..." Break told him as Arthur stared at the bacon a little unsettled... He never thought that he would be feeling empathetic with a slice of meat before...
'I'm sorry that you got fried...' he thought to himself as Break gave him a confused star, watching Arthur clasp his hands together towards the bacon.
"You are a weird one... You know that..." Break pointed out as Arthur continued to eat his egg...Arthur glanced to the stone on his sword slightly, recalling how twice now, it had saved him from his losses... It even reversed the spell that made him a pig, as he recalled the blue sparks that came from his body as he broke the spell...
"Say what is this stone on my sword...?" Arthur questioned as Break raised an eyebrow at Arthur, instantly knowing the stone in which Arthur was talking about.
"You mean the Iscara stone?" Break inquired as Arthur gave him a puzzled look, Break sighing at Arthur's lack of knowledge. "The Iscara stone was a stone used back in the anti-magic war. It's a stone known to ward of magic and bad spells that could cause it and its holder harm... The stone is said to react strongly upon the strength of the heart, you know, that whole spiritual connection thing and everything..."Break explained before pointing at Arthur. "You are the man who owns the sword, I would expect you to know that..."
"Yeah, I knew that... but..." Arthur thought on in his head as he stared at the sword in a troubled way. 'Why didn't it stop me from becoming a pig then...?' he thought to himself as he then looked to the bacon, bowing his head again. 'I'm sorry for your losses...' he told the bacon, automatically feeling sorry for the pig which had to die for it again, Break only able to stare at him like he was a weirdo..."Super maid is here!" Shannon's voice chimed as she came in through the door, catching both Break's and Arthur's attention.
"Ah, Shannon, there you are, slap some sense into your brother. Night terrors are making him pray to bacon..." Break pointed out as Arthur jumped at his words.
"I- I wasn't praying..." Arthur stated as Shannon tilted her head, walking in the room with the broom...
"You had a night terror? That's unlike you; you usually sleep like a baby..." Shannon told him as Arthur sighed, looking away for her for a few seconds.
"Yeah, well I'm no longer a sixteen year old at home anymore, I have seen so many terrifying things, you'd think that they would be normal..." Arthur pointed out as Break laughed at him.
"I wouldn't know all you bring back is the hides of those terrifying creatures!" Break pointed out as Arthur suddenly got depressed again.
"You know, as of late, I haven't..." he stated, Break becoming aware of his sudden depression as he then looked away with a cough, his eyes meeting Shannon's for a slight second as Shannon looked back at him. Break moved his eyes to her and to Arthur multiple times, as Shannon nodded, understanding what he meant, before she then put her broom down, running up behind Arthur and giving him a hug.
"So what has my amazing big brother down?" she chimed as Arthur tried to struggle out her grasp.
"Nothing, you are worrying too much!" Arthur told her as Shannon hugged him tighter, not giving him much room to breathe as Break sighed, leaving the two of them to hang off one another, as he walked over to his weaponry plans.
"I'm your little sister, so you have to let me worry about you!" Shannon then chimed as Arthur then paused, looking back at his younger sister, who smiled back at him cheekily... He then smiled at her slightly...
"Stop trying to be cool..." he told her, pinching her nose lightly as she let go of him, squirming about in pain.
"How mean!" she stated in a nasally sort of way as Arthur laughed a little.
"I am the cool one here, don't steal my lines!" he told her, as she moved her hands about in slight pain.
