"Bye Arthur, come again!" Edward called from the inn, waving Arthur off as Arthur waved back, yawning a little as they began to gallop off, away from the inn and the village in which it stood in. The sky was only lightly patched together with hints of small clouds within it, the rest of it was a pastel, early morning blue, partially obscured but the new morns skylight.  Ciel was riding on the front of the saddle with a not looking back at Arthur and wearing a disgruntled expression on his face...
"Did you have to wake me up so early..." Arthur grumbled; tears of fatigue appearing in his eyes as Ciel stuck his nose up at Arthur, much to Arthur's surprise... Arthur pouted at Ciel a little, before then tilting his head at him... "Hey, are you still not talking to me?" Arthur then questioned as Ciel refused to look back at him.
"I just do not have much to say to you right now..." Ciel answered icily as Arthur raised an eyebrow at him. He looked back up to the road ahead of him, a rather unphased expression on his face as he watched the scenery pass him dully.  "Say, what is this so called prediction that Rosa has of me...?" Arthur then inquired, still a little interested on the matter as Ciel remained quiet just ignoring Arthur's existence behind him. Arthur then frowned, flicking the back of the bat's head in slight annoyance.
"S-Say, what was that for?" Ciel snapped, a little tearful, unable to rub the pain on his head away as Arthur looked back at him seriously.
"I asked you a question..." Arthur stated, looking back up at the road every so often to check where he was going... Ciel blinked twice at Arthur before he then turned back away from him in a mood.
"I have no reason to tell you!" Ciel scowled, leaving Arthur a little irritated by the bat's responses to him. After a few moments silence, Arthur looked back to the road solely, a somewhat agitated expression on his face as he then whipped out his reigns, getting Olier to charge off faster.
"Fine..." he uttered, not seeing why he was even bothering to make conversation with the bat anyway...

It wasn't long before they reached the settlement at the barrier, it was round the time that sun was beginning to make its final descending peak of the day, a large gust of yellow blossoms surrounding Olier as he trotted up to the small array of buildings, now lying almost bare due to people packing up, getting ready to leave.
"Grandpa, we have the spices all put away!" Two young children stood before the old man who usually showed Arthur the way through the settlements fields up to the barrier from here as the old man nodded to them smiling warmly at them both.
"Good, good! You can both go and have a rest now!" The old man stated as the children looked to one another excitedly before then running off around the tiny village once more, their grandfather calling after them as they did so. "Don't go near the plagued lands!" he yelled as the children continued to giggle and mess about, not really listening to the old man as he continued to sigh...
"Father, a solider has arrived!" A woman then announced pointing to Arthur who was just dropping off of Olier, the man's face lightening up as he turned to see Arthur now standing there, admiring the scenery briefly.
"Kinsmen! Hello, what brings you way up here good sir?" he waved to Arthur who waved back at the man slightly.
"Ah, I am just heading to the tower!" Arthur pointed to the tower that loomed in the distance as the old man looked back at Rosalyn's tower, before looking back to Arthur rather shocked. He titled his head at Arthur, a little puzzled.
"Through the plagued lands...? Are you sure about that Sir?" he inquired, not sure as to why anybody would want to venture through them,  as Arthur nodded, walking over to the old man with a small smile.
"It's royal business..." he answered when suddenly the children came running back towards them gleefully, hopping about a bit.
"Hey grandfather, Rosa is here with your medicine again!" one of the children stated pointing to the back fields, the old man's face lighting up, as Arthur paused, a little confused. He looked up across the field to see Rosalyn heading down the field, playing through her satchel with a small unsuspecting smile on her face, catching Arthur completely off guard... Arthur took a few steps back... What... What was she doing here?!
"Hmm, so she is..." the old man nodded humbly, turning to face Rosalyn, before raising his hand and waving at her, cupping his other hand over his mouth. "Lady Rosa, hello there, it is good to be seeing you well!" the man chimed, going to walk over to Rosalyn, when quite suddenly, Arthur grabbed his arm. The man looked back at Arthur a little surprise as Arthur kept his gaze on Rosalyn, rather pale faced...  This didn't happen last time, meaning that something what going to happen...  Her appearance could only mean something was going to go terribly, terribly wrong... Slowly, Arthur went to reach for his sword as Rosalyn grew nearer.
