"I'm coming, I'm coming..." Arthur uttered, swinging on his shirt as he walked up to the door... He hesitated at the door for a few seconds... He knew who was behind the door, it would be Break with his sword... And though the mornings had worked different ways in the past, that was simply because he was in different places at different times... Arthur's eyes narrowed a little, as he opened up the door... In the end, things still worked the same.
"ARTHUR!"
Suddenly Arthur was tackled by a small bundle of energy in rags, which sent him stumbling back in slight shock... He looked down to see himself being hugged a squeezed tightly, a woman nuzzling up to him slightly...
"Sh... Shannon..." he uttered, as Shannon looked up at him smiling cheekily as him as she gave him a large squeeze... Arthur stared at her, rather baffled by her appearance as Break came by the door.
"She was adamant about me taking her up here to see you... I'm just here to hand you back your now unblunt sword..." Break stated with a dull look, raising Arthur's sword in it's sheathe as Arthur still seemed rather out of it... He held his head a little, rather confused...
"Wh-What are you doing here...?" he stammered, raising an eyebrow at Shannon, as she looked at him, a little surprised by his question... When she then shrugged her shoulders, releasing him as she put her finger to her lips, thinking to herself thoroughly.
"I was doing my usual morning chores, when all of a sudden; I had a very sudden urge to see you..." She told him, tilting her head when she then smiled at him faintly. "It was like 'Say, I wonder if Arthur needs cheering up?' and I grabbed my trusted broom and the valiant hero sister galloped away to check on you!" she told him, as Arthur still felt rather at a loss... This wasn't meant to happen... Usually he would wake up, and Break would be at his door, and only Break alone... Shannon then raised her fingers up to the sides of her mouth, smiling brightly at him. "So cheer up Arthur! I'm here for you!" she told him warmly as Arthur didn't know what to say or reply to her... Everything was so confusing... So painful... He was stuck inside an endless repeating loop, yet how did she still manage to find a way to reach him ,without even understanding his situation... Arthur lowered his head, as Shannon tilted her head, lowering it to look at his wife the same smile... "Hey... Arthur-" she began when she then quite suddenly paused... She then stood up, a serious expression stretching over her face... "Break, I think you should leave for now..." she spoke up as Break flinched a bit at her words.
"Wh-What...? But what about the sword-?" Break began when Shannon raised her hand, not looking back at him.
"Leave it by the side..." she told him as Break pouted at her a little.
"Say... What's-"
"Break!" The fierceness of her tone stopped Break in his tracks... Break gave a partially surprised look, before he then sighed, shaking his head and leaving his sword by the door.
"We'll continue our discussion later, small fry..." He told her, walking out the door and leaving as Shannon's firm hold, seemed to loosen... She looked back, running over to the door, looking around to see if anybody might be watching, before shutting the door behind her, looking back to Arthur with a half-hearted smile...
"Say... I said you should smile..." she told him as something splattered off the oak floor, Arthur's head kept down low as tear streamed out his eyes, his every attempt to keep them locked up at once... Shannon walked over to him, her arms out.
"Come here silly..." she told him as she then gave Arthur a hug, Arthur hugging her back as he wept, clinging onto her for a slight few seconds as though her were still fighting to keep strong, before his grip loosened slightly... How miserably frustrating this all was... Being stuck in this curse, that never seemed to want to end...There was a small chime, a small crystal wind chime spinning slightly in the breeze by the window, the crystals reflecting the light of the early morning sun, that stood above the plagued lands, trying to fight past the cloud line... Ciel fluttered past the window, pacing around the witch's room, using his wings to dust away cobwebs...
"Mistress, don't you think that's it's about time that you got out of your nightdress...?" Ciel inquired as he glanced over to Rosalyn, who was sitting on the chair by the crystal ball, watching what was going on in it casually... She yawned as bit, as she saw a young woman hugging Arthur inside his room, a little bit intrigued...
"Who is that women he is with...?" Rosalyn inquired as Ciel flew over in her direction to see what she was looking at, before he then lost interesting flapping off again.
"That is Sir Arthur's sister I believe..." Ciel stated, as Rosalyn tilted her head, conjuring up a cake by her side as she took her dessert fork, breaking a piece away from the red velvet cake by her side...
"Sister, huh...?" she uttered with a nod... "I thought that they had a similar aura to one another..." she then nodded, breaking off another piece of cake with her dessert fork.
"A-Ah! Mistress! What did talk about with cakes in the morning?!" Ciel cried as Rosalyn took another bit of her cake.
"Yummy!" she chimed, ignoring Ciel again, much to his dismay.
