"Well this certainly is... Different..." Arthur mentioned, as he, Rosalyn and Ciel found themselves in the newly crafted room of the tower... The room was a lot larger than it ever had been, even larger than the time the place was filled with a small jungle. The room also had an appearance extremely different form the last ones, for one it looked rather extravagant... The room was built like a maze before them, the stairs being visible in the distance, being made of white marble and draped with golden carpets... The walls and floors were rather similar though decorated with boundless jewels and gold, there being various glass walls before them, making it uncertain which way was an exit or not. The ceiling held a similar type of aesthetic, the tops of it being filled completely with mirrors, decorated with golden borders, the ceiling almost seeming to dip slightly into an egg shape in the centre... There was no pictures in frames this time, but on the outer walls, there were dancing silhouettes coming from figures that were none existent giving the room quite an animated feel. And what lit these figures up was the sight of many small lights orbs, which floated around delicately, changing colour every so often, in a rainbow of colour above... And though he was baffled by the sight, Arthur faintly recalled seeing such a sight before a few times from somewhere on one of his quests...
"Fae..." Rosalyn spoke up, her eyes narrowing a little at the sight of them... "I have never seen so many grouped into one area before..."
"Yes, it seems this new witch has taken the role of an enchantress..." Ciel commented as they all watched the lights float around above them... Fae... So that was where Arthur had seen them before... He had not seen many of the fae as since the anti-magic war, most had fled... You would find the odd few through forests once enchanted by them, and caves where some had found refuge, this was the first time he had seen them so openly fly in such a large number... And for some reason, their appearance gave him a sinking feeling in his chest for some inexplicable reason...
"Well then, we can't stand here and gawk all day as some pheromone magic! Let's hurry and bring Rosalyn Isolde down!" Rosalyn stated in a rather excitable way as Arthur frowned at her.
"Do you even acknowledge the context of what you are saying?" He questioned her, before then shaking his head and bringing out his own sword. "Whatever, we'll call them witch B, so let's get ready..." he then stated, Rosalyn nodding as they decided to step forwards into the maze that had been made by the new witch..."OUCH!" Rosalyn cried, walking straight into a mirrored walkway with a loud thud... Arthur looked back at her, already walking down the next correct passage, raising an eyebrow at her as she held her nose in pain.
"Are you certain you are the same woman who was able to kill me four times...?" Arthur questioned seriously with a cold look as Rosalyn scowled back at him in a flustered fashion.
"Wha- Well sorry, if you are saying that I'm clumsy, that makes you no better for dying because of me that many times!" She pointed out as Arthur's expression became even more distant as he glanced to his side.
"I know, I am feeling quite ashamed of it by this point..." Arthur replied as Rosalyn found herself scowling at him even more, not able to think of a comeback. Arthur then glanced around the maze in which they were in, leaving Rosalyn to steam to herself as he took a closer look round the room... It was funny, it seemed as though that despite them walking for a good while, they seemed to not be getting very far in this maze at all... He had been in quite a few mazes in his time as a knight whilst venturing through dungeons and the alike. He had been following the same basic procedure he usually did, though having so many detouring walkways didn't help them very much at all...
"Well the stairway is over there... So we should continue this wa-OW!" Rosalyn began, walking into yet another glass wall as she tried to leave, giving a small cry of pain as Arthur could only watch her partially in pity... It seemed this was going to take a while...
"Oh mistress..." Ciel uttered, flying over to Rosalyn as she rubbed her forehead with a somewhat embarrassed expression, keeping her head held low. Still, something about this maze, much rather the trial was bothering him; something he couldn't quite put his finger on...
