Seven

After a few hours, Angelica finally woke up. She glanced up at the clock, determining it was almost two in the afternoon.

She stood up, stretching. It was only two, so she had at least ten hours to wait for Blaise. She looked around the room, wondering what she should do to pass the time. She remembered the TV/DVD player in the corner of the room and walked over to it.

She hadn't used it since she was put in the room, so it had gathered a bit of dust. She brushed the dust off, then switched the TV on.

All that was on TV were daytime shows and cooking shows and things like that, so she switched to the news channel. Not surprisingly, her father was being interviewed. It was about her wedding.

"Yes, the royal wedding will be soon," the fuzzy image of her father said. "It should be early next week, we just have a few last-minute preparations to make."

"Last-minute preparations," she mocked with sarcasm, "All we need is a wedding dress."

"Both the bride and groom are very excited, they can hardly wait." The image of her father said.

"He can just say that without consulting me?! How awful," she mumbled, switching the TV off.

She stood up, walking back over to the bed and laying down again. She didn't really know what to do besides sleep.
