After a few minutes of waiting, Pyro finally walked in.

"Hey sis," Rin and Blaise said in unison, followed by laughter.

"Hey," she smiled. She walked up to Blaise, reaching up and smacking the back of his head. "Thanks for making me come down here, I'm missing work."

"Sorry," he said, rubbing the back of his head. "But this guy wanted to speak with you," he said, gesturing toward the doctor.

"Doctor Smith," he said, bowing his head slightly. "It's an honor to meet you, Ms. McCaskey."

She returned the gesture, then looked up at him. "Now can we get my brother his pills? I know my powers are strong, but I can only do so much."

"Of course, the pills," he said, writing something down on his clipboard. He tore a slip of paper off, handing it to Blaise. "Take this to the pharmacy, they'll get your supplements ASAP."

"Thank you, sir," he said, taking the slip, sounding a bit annoyed.

"No problem," he said, turning back to Pyro, "it's amazing to meet you, I love your work."

"Thanks," she said, smiling warmly, "Nice to meet you too, Doctor Smith."

"Let's get to the pharmacy, come on," Angelica said, grabbing Blaise's shirt and throwing it to him. He caught it, putting it on.
"In a rush to leave?" Doctor Smith asked.

"I'd rather him not die," Angelica said, looking at him. "He has gone four days without his pills after all."

"Four days?!" Pyro asked, sounding shocked, "Blaise! I told you to ask me for help!! Four fucking days, Blaise?!"

"Uhm..." he stuttered, looking down.

She stormed over to him, poking his chest hard with her sharp fingernail. "We'll talk later. Idiot." She said, before walking out of the room.

"Ooh, you're gonna talk later," Rin teased. "Let's go over to my house and play Halo before you get killed."

"You're just gonna complain that I beat you because you suck," Blaise grinned.

"First thing we have to do is go to the pharmacy," Angelica said, interrupting them.

"Right," Rin said, "then my house."

"I thought you had work?" Blaise asked, looking at him suspiciously.

"I don't have work, I was just trying to get out of being chauffeur."

"Wow," Angelica laughed, "Let's go, come on," she said, taking Blaise's hand and walking toward the door, Rin following behind.

They walked out to Rin's truck, and by then, Blaise was dizzy again.

"Ugh..." he groaned, "I feel awful."

"I know," Angelica said, hugging him, "come on, the sooner we get the pills the sooner you'll feel better."

"And the sooner we play Halo, I've been practicing," Rin grinned, getting in the truck.

Angelica and Blaise walked around to the other side, Angelica opening the door. "He won't just feel better as soon as he takes the pill, Rin, he'll have to sleep for a while."

"Aw," Rin pouted, "Then you can play Halo with me," he joked.

"I don't know how to play Halo," she laughed, climbing in and helping Blaise in, then reaching over him and pulling the door closed.

"Well I didn't either until Blaise gave me his old Xbox and taught me, I can teach you too," Rin laughed, starting the truck and buckling up.

Blaise and Angelica buckled up too, then he pulled out and started driving toward the pharmacy.

After a few minutes of driving, Rin pulled into the pharmacy parking lot and parked, turning the truck off.

"I'll go in, you two stay here," Angelica said, kissing Blaise on the cheek before climbing over him and getting out of the truck. She closed the door again, then walked into the pharmacy.

"So, what happened at the palace?" Rin asked, "You got caught, they took you, then what?"

"They shackled me to the wall," Blaise said, remembering every detail. "They had to use the smallest shackles they had, the others were too big. First they had a bat, they were hitting me with it, telling me about Angelica's wedding that was supposed to be happening soon, and every time I'd say something they'd hit me again..."

"Oh wow..." Rin trailed off, "Then?"

"Then Sebastian came in, the other guards told him that I snuck into Angelica's room, they told him stuff that didn't happen, just to make him even more mad at me. He took out a knife and slashed it all over me, he stabbed me three times, he was about to kill me when he was summoned by the king."

"Well, aren't we lucky the king needed him?" Rin laughed softly. "That must have hurt."

"Oh you know, just my normal Wednesday night," Blaise said sarcastically, looking out the window at the dirty ground of the pharmacy parking lot. "Let me tell you, sleeping chained to a wall is really hard."

"I'd imagine so," Rin laughed. "I didn't sleep well Wednesday night either, it must've been our brotherly connection."

"We aren't even actually brothers," Blaise laughed, "I'm adopted, remember?"

"Of course I remember, I was there," Rin grinned, "and of course we're actually brothers, what else would we be?"

"I've only known you for like three years, I didn't know that we'd established a brotherly connection."

"Of course we have, you're my brother," Rin laughed. "I feel like I've known you my whole life."

"I guess I feel like that too, it's weird imagining life without you, Pyro and Bailey taking me in."

"I couldn't imagine either, I would've never learned how to play video games."

"Video game. Halo."

"Fair," Rin grinned, looking out the window to see Angelica walk out of the pharmacy. "Looks like she's back."

"Yay," Blaise grinned, looking out the window to see her.

"Isn't she older than you?" Rin asked, looking back at Blaise.

"Yeah, so?" Blaise asked back, narrowing his eyes slightly.

"How much older?"

"Four years."

"Isn't that a lot?"

"No."

"Dude, like when she's walking around with you, I bet people could confuse you with being her little brother," Rin laughed. "She's visibly older than you, it's easy to tell."

"Do you have a problem? Because last I checked, neither of us had a problem with the age difference," Blaise said, still narrowing his eyes.

"And that's all that matters. Just saying what I'm thinking," Rin said, not looking at him to see the defensive look on his face.

Angelica opened the door, climbing over Blaise and sitting in her seat before closing the door again.

"Got the pills," she said, holding up the orange bottle.

"Yay," Blaise said, "Now I won't die."

"That's always a good thing," Rin laughed, starting the car. "My house now?"

"I don't see why not," Angelica laughed.
